Swanson Turmeric & Black Pepper 600 mg 90 Vegan Caps

I suffer from arthritis throughout my body which I inherited from my mother. My knees have been the worst and this supplement is the only thing that has helped me get relief. I can sleep through the night without them hurting as they did so badly in the past. It has great anti-inflammatory properties which can help with a host of inflammation related conditions.

Swanson Turmeric combined with black pepper has been an excellent product for our household. My husband does not have a problem swallowing the capsule. Lately, I have felt it too large for me, so I have switched to a gummy type Turmeric and Black Pepper combo which is definitely been easier for me. Sometimes for various surgeries and procedures we must not it for a week to 10 days before. We can both tell that we have not had it after we have discontinued for a week.

I have been using this product on and off for years now. Recently, I realized that I should never have stopped taking it and started back up. The price is right and the fact that I don't have to remember to add the pepper to products I cook using turmeric, makes getting both in one form awesome. Because the product is shelf stable, I can toss my daily vitamins into my purse and take them when it works for me. Good stuff, here!

All my favorite supplements are from Swanson's from my home town in Fargo. Turmeric has been a dietary supplement for me for many years now. One easy capsule makes it ever so easy.

As another customer stated... I've been taking Tumeric so long that it's hard to rate it. I've been taking Swanson 's brand for about a year and seems to be working as expected. The added pepper is a plus. I do eat a lot of pepper daily but this is a good back up.

These give me terrible heart burn! ( I do not have a sensitive stomach). I have bought MANY different brands of Turmeric & Black Pepper & have never had problems with heart burn before. These were not the usual bright golden color that Turmeric usually is either. The Swanson Turmeric & Black Pepper are a greenish tan color that makes me wonder what is truly in these? I would not recommend or buy Swanson brand of Turmeric again.

I hope this is being reformulated because Consumer Labs tested this product twice and found it contained an unacceptable amount of Lead! I will have to throw out the bottles I have and start a detox because of all the bottles I have taken!
