Take these mostly in the winter time when I don't see much sun.
My husband was told that he should increase his Vitamin D intake beyond what's in the multi we both use, so he has been using this for a year or two. It seems to be effective. I was told the same thing, but I get my additional D from the Calcium with D tablets Swanson sells.
We all know that Vitamin D is good for you and that we all need it on a daily basis. I think that the soft gels are a lot better and easier to take than the regular capsules. Granted, the capsules are equally good and work just fine, I just prefer Vitamins A, D, E & K, the fat soluble ones, in a liquid form and not a powered form. Get these on sale or BOGO and stock up! Great deal!
I have bought and used your Vitamin E for many years. And my heart is just fine for 88 years old and I know it is due to that vitamin. Many years ago I was told by an herbal doctor to take that for my heart. I believe he was right. Keep up the good work!!
Good deal…Always fresh products !!
I do like the D3 better, but this a good, more affordable form of Vitamin D. Small little gel pill (just like a vit e pill), and the 400 I.U. is perfect if you want to take it throughout the day.
I use vitamin D daily and i've tried few other brands & believe Swanson's products are just as superior as some the more expensive brands,i highly recommend all of their products.
This product contains 600 IU of Vitamin A, along with 400 IU Vitamin D. It is not just a Vitamin D supplement. Based on my research, I do not need extra Vitamin A, and in fact, I try to avoid supplements containing too much Vitamin A. If you are like me, and not interested in getting extra Vitamin A, Swanson has some other great formulas that contain Vitamin D, and nothing else.
The front label only indicates Vitamin D. I found the label misleading, although a review of the back label shows how much Vitamin A there is. I usually look carefully at labels but this one got past me, and I was not interested in getting more Vitamin A.
I was negatively surprised to find out that the actual contents inside the softgels differs a lot. Some softgels appear to be almost empty inside, whereas others are filled with oil.
