Swisstech has another nifty, fixed blade that i am pretty happy with. This one is slightly larger than the Kraftig and uses AUS8 steel in place of the more generic D2. It fits well in my hamd and i prefer the fixed style to a flip & lock. As with all of these, Im not sure how long the blade will hold am edge, but it seems good enough to use at the office and at the work bench.
My son is thrilled with the Swiss Tech Halten Steel Blade! The Japanese steel is durable and resistant to scratches. The grip feels natural and secure. It makes precise cuts effortlessly. The hard sheath is a nice touch for easy carrying. This knife makes a great gift for any outdoor enthusiast!
This clip on pocket knife by Swiss Tech is very rugged and for a true outdoorsman. The knife does not fold, but has a hard shell case for storage with a built in belt clip. An included string can also be used to secure the two pieces together to avoid losing the knife. The handle and choir are very comfortable and natural feeling.
I started checking out the Swiss tech camping and knife collection about a year and a half or so ago. at first I started out with decent stuff made out of AUS-8. They have up their game to include D2 steel as well as Japanese VG-10 steel. I have pretty much about 85% of what they have out there. I have three of their lights a flashlight a headlamp and their large three-tier camping lamp with Bluetooth speaker. The knife I purchased and is the subject of this review is absolutely awesome. It came out of the box razor sharp and I do mean razor sharp. I am very proficient at sharpening knives and getting them to a mirrored razor sharp edge. But I didn't even have to mess with it because it came from the factory that sharp. And I'm glad they didn't put the kind of rhino liner material that they put on their other two fixed blade knives. The other two knives are great but I don't like the blade finish. My only complaint is that you are able to unscrew the belt clip and turn it sideways for Scout carry. however one of the screws in there was cheaply made and as soon as I tried to unscrew it the hex key pattern stripped. I was EXTREMELY disappointed!
The spine jimping is a great touch, especially for those detailed cuts that need extra accuracy. The hard sheath is equally impressive-it's durable and offers flexibility with the dual directional belt clip. This knife feels both rugged and refined, making it a reliable companion for outdoor adventures or general utility work.
This is a nice fixed blade. It's an attractive utility knife, very sharp and easy to use. The handle is comfortable, however the choil design doesn't stop the finger from sliding into the blade edge so use caution. The sheath is lightweight and easy to attach to the belt in several positions. The knife is economical, yet very good quality.
From the moment I held it, the quality and craftsmanship were immediately evident. The AUS-8 steel blade is sharp, durable, and well-balanced, making it reliable for a variety of tasks, whether camping, hiking, or everyday use. The 3.85-inch drop-point blade is versatile, handling slicing and detailed tasks with ease.
Swiss Tech products are always really well made and professionally packaged and this knife is no exception. The box has a great legend inside that explains the purpose and intend of each part of the knife, enabling the user to get the most from the product. This would make a great gift for any outdoor enthusiasts.
Great price and quality. I love how innovative Walmart and swisstech are. They really are putting out a great product for the money.
the screws for the belt clip on the sheath were stripped. also, the belt clip broke off from the sheath extremely easily. i barely rub against the door of a truck while getting out, and it broke off. I love the knife itself, but the sheath and belt clip are are not up to the quality of the knife.
