I bought it for my dad because his last pole broke but it wasn't anything close to this pole and so I had to get it because a few years ago I had bought him a Bluetooth reel for his pole that had broke so this pole just turned out perfectly because he can switch the reel if he wanted to but we went camping and he fell in love he says this is a really nice pole he's gonna buy a back up lol VERY WELL PACKAGED!!!! ‼️‼️♥️♥️

Great rod never miss a catfish!! Braided line that come on reel is pretty nice line. Caught 10 - 15 pounders all night no problem!!

Bought this for my Step-dad for a Father's Day outing at the lake. Alert worked flawlessly and he didn't miss any bites although he did loss one while setting the hook. Great combo with neat bite alert feature.

I bought this because I was interested in not losing fish when I fish with my kids. It did not disappoint! My kids were fighting over who got to use it. It works as it says. I will get another one.

Bought this fishing rod combo to do tight line fishing for catfish. I really like the bite alert feature on the fishing pole. I just cast my line out and then turn on the bite alert on 'HIGH' sensitivity. What I like most is I don't have to watch the tip of the fishing pole all the time. I can just listen for the bite alert to go off. Every time the bite alert went off I had a catfish on the line. The bite alert uses two CR2032 watch type battery's. They say the battery will last 1-2 years depending on use. But I think it would be best to install new ones every year. The fishing pole comes with battery's installed all ready for you. If you are buying this fishing pole from your local walmart store. Just double check the bite alert to make sure the battery is not dead. I would also think this fishing pole would be good for trolling for fish as well. Just set the bite alert on 'MED or LOW' sensitivity.

Absolutely the best for night time catfishing. You can leave it on high sensitivity for if you're going for channel cats and using cut bait or worms. or turn it down to medium if you are using suckers as bait, or low sensitivity if you are using bluegills and going for big cats! Ive pulled in everything with these poles from channels,blues, and even a 45lbs flathead.. Absolutely fantastic pole. I've had mine for over 4 years and just now ordering replacements because I left the batteries in over the winter (my fault) and they corroded.

I received this item busted into a lot of pieces. Eyes were bent and pole broken. I wish I could have actually tried the rod. Also it was 2 days late in getting here . Super disappointed. I am returning it to the store for a refund but no replacement as it's not available in the store.
