So the first one I got was stolen off of my porch but the seller quickly had a new one sent out. I read the directions and let it sit for 6-8 hours and I just turned it on for the first time an hour ago. First of all it blows out air strongly. Like the air flow is awesome!! The air that comes out is really cold air. I want to get another one for another room in my house so I’ll be ordering again soon.

Purchased this a/c to keep a small bedroom cool. Unfortunately it doesn't work quite as well as the WAP1-08C. I attempted to reach out to the seller, but didn't hear anything back.

I purchased two of these air conditioners and I love them they are a little loud but the put out excellent air and having a remote control is fantastic. Most important thing when you receive your air conditioner let it sit over night before turning it on. If you don’t it will not function properly which is way so many people leave bad reviews about it not getting cold. And if it say on need the tank to be emptied drain the water than unplugged it than plug it back up than it will reset and go back into working mode. I absolutely love this product and you will too. And the price was great when you buy it before the air conditioning season starts.

im not sure if it will work or not, we carried it up a flight of stairs, open the box to find that it was damaged i aaume during shipping, very disappointing, now we have to carry it back down stairs and return it, the worse part is it was bought to cool the spare bedroom hopefully it works for at least one night and we can figure something else out.

When I needed to return one of the units, the entire process turned into a nightmare. The return instructions told me to bring the unit back to Walmart, so I hauled this heavy item to the store. At the return center, I was told they couldn’t take it back because it was sold by a third-party seller. This was extremely frustrating because nowhere in the ticket, return label, or order details did it say that. The instructions simply said to return it to Walmart, which turned out to be completely misleading. After being turned away, I contacted the third-party seller directly as instructed. Weeks later, I still haven’t received a single response. So now I am stuck with a product I don’t want, wasted time, and zero accountability from either Walmart or the seller. The entire process feels like a scam. Walmart puts their name and reputation on the sale, but when things go wrong, they wash their hands of it and leave customers to deal with unresponsive third parties. That is not customer service, and it’s not what I expect from a major retailer. I’ve shopped online with companies like Amazon, and they make returns quick and hassle-free. Walmart, on the other hand, makes it nearly impossible if a third-party is involved. If they want to partner with outside sellers, they should take responsibility for making returns simple and transparent. Instead, they push the burden onto the customer. This was one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had, and I will never purchase items like this from Walmart again. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid buying anything from Walmart that comes from a third-party seller. Bottom line: Walmart and their third-party partners provide terrible service and make returns nearly impossible. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

I found this cooler unit after searching and comparing online - and glad I found this one because within my situation of a loss of a central cooling unit - this cooler has helped a lot in both cooling and air circulation of removing hot air - very powerful unit for its size, and comforts the air in a larger square foot area as advertised. As a lot of people that has a open kitchen den area - this unit surprised me in the output to drop the temp as it did in that particular area. The cooling output set on high can be felt from quite some feet - and the same for the outside window vent blowing out the hot air. The fan noise level does increase with higher speed setting - but is still more quiet than expected. Yet can be adjusted down as set to lower speed(s) I can put up with some fan noise for a bit until cool enough - beats feeling like sitting in a sauna! No overly loud compressor noise either - just fan circulation or "blower" sound. So I definitely recommend this for legit cooling option to save money on costs - and even operating/power costs. Basically it operates the same as a standard window unit with refrigerant cooling and exhaust - however I tried a window unit and this one out performs it! *Only one small issue that for me was needed to address - and it may not matter to some - but the exhaust tubing really works the same as a clothes dryer tubing - venting the air outside. But the exhaust "hole" is openly exposed. There is a chance for either birds or pests to find this outlet hole to claim as their "home" - so not good. Solution? - I happened to have some extra air vent mesh and and adhesive strips (a simple air mesh kit from online) - and cut a piece to fit over the outlet hole - works nicely and allows air flow without any harsh obstruction also keeping unwanted "visitors" out. Or a simple patch of screen to adhere over it would also work. Even with a little creativity - could use a clothes dryer vent cover with a open/close flap as well from the hardware store. So a good air-flow plus entry prevention vent cover would be a nice touch to be included with the window kit - other than that - no problems or issues with the unit itself. Very pleased with the overall function and quality cooling.

When I got it I let it set for the recommended 8 hours and not even 24 hours after finally turning it on it completely froze. I had to let it thaw and then I opened it up to see the temperature censor was completely misplaced and once I fixed that it's been working good it's not crazy cold, but it does the job. I find a standard window a/c cools better but I find that those leak and make messes and this is much easier. I do have to drain it every day, but that's easier than dealing with leaking. It is a little loud when turned on high, but I don't really mind it some others may. Overall not bad.

the housing adapter that connects the exhaust hose to the back of the air condition is about 3/4 of an inch to short left to right and at least 1/4 of an inch short top to bottom. so it does not fit in the bracket and secure to the back of the machine.

Absolutely horrible. We had it turned on, on the lowest temp which is 61. We had our bedroom door closed and it was still 72 degrees in my bedroom when we woke up. When I tried to do a return this morning it says it can't be returned it due to Walmart policy. Don't waste your money on this.
