My daughter loves this thing! It's a great age appropriate toy for my 9 yr old! Only thing is I wish the battery life was longer, it feels like we are always changing the batteries!
My grandaughter loves it! There is a case which i might get for it. She loves the interaction with it. Very happy.
appropriate for a 10 year old. my daughter loves it. she plays with it on a daily basis. says it's way better than had older model. Has more features like a camera. would recommend.
Haven't opened it yet (it is a gift for Christmas) but it looks great no damage on the pack. The right color, and price was a little less then a different site!
The item was a gift so I can't judge its quality; however the price was less than Amazon. Being able to buy this and receive it quickly from Walmart was good experience.
Set up was way more complicated than it should have been, once we got past that my daughter figured it out rather quickly. The button sensors are touchy. It's priced too high for what you get in my opinion, especially since you'll be replacing the batteries all the time. My daughter got hers on Christmas and it hasn't even been a week (5 days) and the batteries are low and need to be changed, it really should have been designed with a rechargeable internal battery. If her progress is lost when the batteries are changed out she's going to be really upset, but we haven't gotten there yet so we shall see. She loves it, it keeps her entertained so I gave it stars for that but again...it's priced way too high.
my daughter loved this at first, very cute, very easy to use. died after a week. why didnt they make it rechargeable? i cant afford new batteries every single week, thats crazy. it definitely should be rechargeable for the cost. shes so disappointed that she already cant play with it anymore.
Although my daughter loves it, the batteries die within 2-3 days We've had it 9 days and we are on our third installation of new batteries! And it doesn't matter what batteries you use! I've used the “expensive” kind and dollar tree brand, they both last the same amount So my advice is to buy a BUNCH of dollar store brand batteries so you can change them without breaking the bank for an already expensive toy!
I've been collecting tamagotchi for years as a hobby. Instead of the typical push buttons that are used to control the tamagotchi, there is a sort of touch screen feature. Many games involve 'swiping' one way or another to control what direction you aim. Playing games with your tamagotchi is required to keep the virtual pet healthy and not winning games means that increasing the 'happiness level' is difficult. Some of the games I have found impossible to win because the toy isn't responding to me trying to 'swipe' one way or the other. The poor responsiveness has led to a lot of frustration for me, an adult. I can only imagine it would be worse for a child.
Disappointed!!!!!. It turns out that this device uses AAA batteries, from December 24 to today we have had to change them 2 times and my daughter hardly plays with it. I thought that this type of device used another type of more durable batteries
