Tampax Pearl Tampons with LeakGuard Braid, Ultra Absorbency, 18 Count

The ultra are a perimenopause life saver. The plastic pearl applicator makes it so easy to place. The braided cord is larger making it easier to grasp and remove. The ultra absorbency is so much better than the super so I don't have to constantly change tampons when experiencing a flooding episode. Such a relief to find these because I was considering adult diapers for overnight. I just use the ultra with an extra long pad and have not had any more accidents overnight. Highly recommend for anyone experiencing extremely heavy periods or perimenopause flooding.

I would recommend this product because it's very easy to apply and the applicator is nice and smooth and putting in this product very easy. I also love that it is a disposable so great for on the go and disposal is easy a quick just wrap it up and throw it away. Love Tampax Pearl it is the only ones I trust with their leakguard braid which reduces leaks. I love Ultra especiallt because I have a heavy flow, it means less bathroom trips. They are not as discreet as others but I perfer this design and they are easy to dispose of. Cons - Why do they have to be so expensive. You would think femine care would be more affordable 😫

This tampon absorbency works for my flow . It may not be the right absorbency for some females. All i can suggest is if you have a heavy flow then give this tampon brand / flow a try

Ladies if you have a heavy flow / super heavy flow during your cycle then these tampons are a must have along with heavy flow pads this is what works for my daughter and myself. To the ladies out there hope this helps you.

Where are my heavy-flow people at?! I bleed like there’s no tomorrow, for two straight days of my period (sometimes three). 😫 We’re talking going-through an ultra tampon every 1-2 hours, at times, heavy-flow. Add-in the migraines, cramping (there should be another word for these, as the word, “cramp”, has been so “watered-down”). I mean, it feels like someone is trying to cut-out %26 repeatedly stab-me, in the uterus. And, I know about having things cut-out %26 cut-off of me: MY RIGHT LEG WAS CUT-OFF, IN 2019. So, yeah. If you get those debilitating “times of the month”- I. FEEL. YOU. These ULTRA TAMPONS are LIFE SAVERS. DO YOU HEAR ME?! I’m a firefighter %26 an athlete (I’ve done hundreds of Spartan Races, Obstacle Course Races %26 Road Races, blah blah blah). I would have never been able to do ANY of those things, without a product, like this. It sounds really dramatic. But, IT’S 100% TRUE. 🤯I didn’t even realize this, until I started writing this review. The absorbency is just ok, hence the 4 stars. I still experience leaks and frequent restroom trips with this ultra absorbency level. There is another brand i really like that provides better absorbency and protection.

good for the heaviest leak. I still had to wear thin pad with this unfortunately because I get beyond heavier ever it sucks big time for me but I do recommend anyone who struggles with the unnecessary heavy days poo 🫤

I hate tampons. Due to fibroids, I need them. I have tried several brands and Tampax pearl was the most comfortable due to the plastic applicator and shape. I will say that there is a noticeable difference in the width of the applicator as you go up in absorbency. Be careful that you truly need Ultra, as using these can be very uncomfortable. They are compact and easy to insert with the applicator, but can be uncomfortable to remove (especially if you don't have a heavy flow). That being said, if you have a VERY heavy flow, you may need a backup (pad) on your heaviest days as they don't seem to catch everything. For example, I have a very heavy flow and on the heaviest days, I'll be lucky if it lasts an hour before leaking. The other brand (Playtex? I can't recall) with Ultra was better at preventing leaks, but really hard to remove due to the way it expanded. Overall, I would recommend for those with a heavy flow. I would recommend that you try Super or Super before Ultra though. You shouldn't use Ultra unless there is no other option.

These used to be good but not anymore. It used to take about 6-8 hours to get full, but now it lasts only 2-4 hours, and I still can easily get stained from the string even when the whole tampon has not absorbed fully. Such a shame. I need a different better brand that would not throw my whole mood off for the day with soaked stained panties! Highly inconvenient since I'm out for the day, far from home. Periods are an inconvenience of themselves, please don't make it worse for us by reducing the quality of your products! This is supposed to be Ultra size tampon for crying out loud. Thanks.
