Targus 17" Lap Chill Mat - AWE55US

I had originally purchased this exact chill mat when I purchased my laptop several years ago and it finally gave out. I was excited to find this online from Walmart and it was $8 cheaper than in the store. This product performed excellently for me before and I expect it will this time also. It really helps keep your computer cool and doesn't add much extra weight. It arrived at the store the exact day it was promised. Thanks Walmart!!

I bought this to send to college, with my daughter. She has had a few different kinds, over the years, and prefers two fans, and the flat angled mats, over curvy cushy ones, with a single fan. It is very quiet, so not to disturb those around you. Her 15" HP fills it up, so I don't know if a 17" would really fit on it. It's a great chill mat though! Worth the investment!

I use my laptop in my lap a lot and wanted to get a good cooling mat for it. This one fits just right! It's angled, it has a soft material covering the bottom and it has a USB instead of batteries. AND it was cheaper online than in the store! It does a great job!!

Other cooling devices may be cheaper, but this is of a much more indestructible quality, and able to withstand picking it up and setting it down repeatedly. It is very lightweight, and at a perfect angle to do hours of work and not become any more uncomfortable than sitting at a laptop doing hours of work itself. It is also designed in a way that should the fans fail(over time), and thus no longer cool the laptop itself, it still will provide complete alleviation of the heat from the laptop to your legs/body, unlike the cheap $17 device I previously owned, which became immediately unusable once the brittle plastic broke and thus collapsed, and the cheap welding of the USB connection gave with normal, careful use.

I had my fan go out in my laptop and my business is my computer 100%. I ordered this, not only did it get here quickly but it is working beautifully. The cheaper ones don't have as much fan coverage this one covers and cools the entire bottom of my laptop and I have a 19" with a full keyboard. Don't get the cheap version this is worth every penny.

I like what i got it is doing what it supposed to keep my laptop on cool It really does a good job.......

it's my first time using this item, and so far its really great. comfortable when using it at your lap or just simply setting it on any surface when using your devices. so now I just need to wait and see how long this product last. oh and I forgot to mention that you just need one usb port to plug in. I saw in some review that you needed two, guess not. the cord can either go on the left or right its long enough for both sides too. I guess that's it for now. try it and see how it is and enjoy!

Blows cool air to bottom of lap top. Second purchase of this product. The first is still working after one year.

Worked well, kept my laptop between 10-15 degrees Celsius cooler. However less than a year into owning it, it's not working as well. The USB cable is poor quality. For the price and it's simplicity this is underwhelming

This pad sounded like it would really do the trick, so we sprang for what seemed like quite a bit to pay for a cooling pad. The pad does not keep the laptop from heating up, though it does help a little, but not enough, so we are taking it back to the store minus the packaging. (Hope that won't be a problem)
