I don't know why these reviews are so bad, easy to put together and works really well can see the moon perfectly craters and all.

I was concerned with all the one star reviews this telescope had, but bought it anyways and it was well worth the risk! All of the one star reviews are clearly from people who can't read directions or simply have no clue what they're doing. Within 5-10 minutes of unboxing it I already was able to use it. I was quite impressed for it only being $44, I easily got a very clear view of the moon and several stars, hopefully I can use to tomorrow night when Saturn comes by! Overall this telescope is great for beginners, with some patience and reading the directions, you'll have a blast with this Tasco Telescope!

Great magnification. Could see Jupiter moons, and it zoomed in on the moon our moan so closely that it didn't even fit in the view. However adjusting the telescope to follow the movement of stars is very very challenging. There is no micro adjuster, and it's a little sticky when you move it. So we spent 90% of the time adjusting and trying to refine stars and only 10% of the time actually enjoying seeing things through the telescope

It's a nice little unit. Easy to assemble. One thing that is weird, and maybe disconcerting, is the fact that it flips things around instead of seeing things for how they are head-on. It's a nice unit for any beginner wanting to explore their surroundings and heavenly bodies.

Box was open when bought. Turns out the item was already sold and returned. Box was missing the sporting scope as well as the instruction booklet. I was wanting to watch the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. They were going to make the Christmas star. The part missing made this a disappointing buy.

This teleacope is cheap. It is def. not worth 40.00 dollars. Theres one acessorie that is part of the attach scope and everything is upside down. Do not buy. The directions should be more step by step detailed to determine if its actually put together. I got mine set up identical to the picture it provided of it fully set up and there was still no visiual and my daughter was disapointed because we had a full moon and we couldnt enjoy it in detail. rerurned it to Walmart and got a full refund.

Very poor quality, you cannot see the planets, it is cheap that's why it is poor.

no directions on which eyepieces go where. buy any other telescope. you cant get it set up

Complete piece of junk. After my entire family was disappointed for one hour just trying to get the faulty tripod base to remain steady while we focussed the lense, we deposited it into the trash dumpster. Don't waste your time. I only gave it one star because zero is not an option.
