Super delicious!

Michelle August 7, 2025

These were delicious! We went through 3 bags in no time! Lol There are just enough raisins and the quality is amazing! I definitely would recommend to anyone that loves oatmeal raisin cookies.

Very tasty, almost like homemade

Thriftysoul February 5, 2026

Very tasty, almost like homemade. A bit hard in texture and the raisins are very chewy, but the flavor is great. Packaging is underwhelming - plan to put them in your own container to keep them fresh if you don't go through them quickly. Price is pretty high for cookies.

Lots of love from an old cookie lover

marindavid February 15, 2026

A few years ago, I had my first Tate's cookie: it was an Oatmeal Raisin. Today, I remain a devout and admittedly addicted Tate's Oatmeal cookie consumer! Crunchy, not overly sweet (as many otherwise good cookies are prone to be). and simply yummy, I eat at least a couple of them just about every day. A year (or more) ago, I became aware that the company had been sold and I immediately worried that these cookies would not be as good any more. As it turns out, my concerns were unwarranted. They are as good as they ever were. I really love ‘em

I usually try to eat lots of fiber as needed to prevent adverse health issues. Oatmeal has always been one of my go to foods for this situation. Tates cookies are just like eating a hearty, delicious and downright scrumptious bowl of oatmeal. Most of the time I eat it as a snack or for desert like I would an apple, apple sauce or granola bar.

Almost like mom's. Tate's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

NellieB May 12, 2026

Tate's oatmeal raisin cookies taste like they came from an actual kitchen. Butter leads the ingredient list while most other commercial cookies substitute cheaper oils or partially hydrogenated fats, and the palate knows the difference, In these cookies its richness is perceptible in every bite. The texture is Tate's signature — thin and genuinely crisp rather than soft and cakey. The reduced moisture content means the oat and cinnamon flavors shine while the abundent raisins provide a chewy counterpoint. They're even relatively healthy. The cookies contain oats, eggs, and milk alongside the butter without the emulsifiers, artificial flavors, and preservatives found in most shelf-stable cookies. These are still cookies — the sugar is real and the portions should be watched— but within the category, the ingredient quality is notably high. Slathered with a bit of cream cheese or accompanied by a glass of milk for protein, they make a reasonable breakfast.

Delicious but a bit crispy

Donna March 19, 2026

The taste is sensational. However, I'm in the midst of extensive dental work and these extra-crispy cookies are sometimes uncomfortable to chew. The raisins are also hard. I wouldn't give them to a toddler. I top them with canned peaches in syrup to soften them up. Sometimes I top it with ice cream or whipped cream. I love the combination of flavors and texture.

If you want a thin dry, crispy, sugary oatmeal raisin cookie this is the one for you! My personal favorite is thick, chewy, and a balanced brown sugar cinnamon flavored cookie. I am currently trying to come up with a less-sugar or sugar-free chewy raisin cookie recipe.

Will Not Buy Again

Sweetgirl1956 June 28, 2026

I live in the south and use to make oatmeal raisin cookies a lot when my boys were young. I love the Tate'a Bake Shop chocolate chip and chocolate chip with walnut cookies so I was surprised that I do not like the oatmeal raisin cookies. These cookies have way too much of a flavoring that makes the cookie too sweet. Your standard oatmeal cookies do not taste like this. I ate one and was done. Will not buy again.

Same sized packaging, downsized contents!

DudleyDorite September 6, 2025

Same large packaging, with same large picture of the stacked cookies…open the bag and the cookies are half the size of what they were! And, the quality of these has also suffered. The brand is in a death spiral…
