These are sweet and moist. Very good taste. Needed to add to my diet for the vitamins. Thinking of making a desert with, that will feel like cheating, but won't be. Also going to add to a cranberry walnut salad. Great healthy alternative to cookies or cake when a sweet tooth hits. Will purchase again.
Don't tell your kids these are nourishing, they're as delicious as candy! Sweet, moist, and exceptionally flavorful. Simply the best prunes I've ever tasted, not what our Grandma fed us. Huge health benefits too, from digestive to vitamins and minerals.
Five stars, hands down. These Sunsweet Amazin Prunes live up to their name in every way. They are absolutely delish—sweet, rich, and naturally satisfying without being overpowering. The texture is what really sets them apart. Unlike other brands that are overly sticky or cloyingly gooey, these prunes have a tender bite and are easy to snack on without needing a wet wipe afterward. The resealable 16 oz plastic container keeps them fresh and makes healthy snacking a breeze. Whether you are looking for digestive support or just something tasty and nutritious to munch on, these prunes hit the mark. Best of all? You really do feel better eating them. Sunsweet's slogan, “It Feels Good to Feel Good,” could not be more accurate. These are the gold standard of prunes—convenient, flavorful, and genuinely good for you.
Eat prunes!!! Recent research from Penn State University suggests that daily prune consumption can effectively slow the progression of age-related bone loss and reduce fracture risk in postmenopausal women. Daily consumption of 4 to 6 prunes (50 grams) was found to be sufficient to maintain bone mineral density (BMD), strength, and structure at the hip and tibia.
This is a really good product. The taste is not too bad. I do not recommend you use this for a snack, but it will keep your body flowing smoothly. Shall we say? Especially if you were taking medication and constipation is a big problem and become a very serious problem. If you are a heart patient just having open-heart surgery. Not a toy it works great. 2–4 is about all you need every day just as needed
These prunes are delicious. They're naturally sweet and flavorful. The texture is plump, moist, and tender, better than some other brands. They have a satisfying "bite," making them easy to enjoy as a snack. The resealable plastic container keeps the prunes fresh and easy to grab. The 16 oz size offers good value. They're a good source of fiber, helpful for maintaining regularity and gut health. They also contain potassium, magnesium, and vitamin K, beneficial for bone and heart health.
I read all the reviews for three different packages of prunes, but couldn't decide which one to order, so I ordered all three: Sun-Sweet, Sun Maid, and Great Value. I was surprised and pleased to find that they were all three pretty much identical! The one pound packages were each about $6.50, so all three get a five star rating from me!
Fresh and plump prunes which I use every morning after I take my daily medicine, which would cause me acid stomach. Now the acidity is treated with the prunes, absorbing that stomach acid. Prunes are like shy girlfriends or boyfriends; they come in handy when needed.
The Great Value brand was cheaper, but from Chile. So I bought the Sunsweet brand to support California growers, and the joke's on me. Surprise surprise, the Sunsweet prunes are imported from Argentina!! Oh well, live and learn. If a company doesn't tell you upfront where their product is from, don't buy it. Don't fall for the sweet story about growing fruit for over a hundred years, just to find out they didn't mean in the USA. The prunes are good, but I think about Argentina when I eat one. I bet the Chile prunes are just as good and lower priced.
The prunes were, in fact, amazing...except for the pit that almost broke a tooth. They were moist and delicious--what little there was of them! They come in an opaque, white, plastic tub. And, since the prunes stick together and are heavy, you can't tell until you open them that the tub is less than half full. At first, i thought that someone had eaten half of them; but, the seals were intact. Then, I happened to look at the the bottom. Instead of being flat, the bottom was concave, with a big indentation of almost an inch. This indentation takes away another 4 or 5 prunes from the buyer. For $6.58, I expect to at least be able to see how little I'm getting, before i buy the product.
