TCL 50" Class 4K UHD LED Roku Smart TV HDR 5 Series 50S525

I love TCL products. This is the second tv I got after getting a smaller one for spare room< I had to get this one for living room and gave away my other tv to neighbors who do not have a lot, but great workers and people. Anyway, so far so good! Peace and be safe.

My needs are quite demanding. I only play 4K disks and I have a high end Home Theatre with truly flat speakers. This TCL 50" is superb and did well in all the tests I ran it through. The spectrum of colors is awesome - especially in dark or low lit scenes. Very difficult to reproduce. Give it all the stars you can muster.

It is a smart tv so you can always find something to watch. Has a very very good, clear picture and has surround sound.

The TV is Beautiful!! Easy to set up and I really appreciate that the remote included batteries!

I don't use it for gaming so I cannot comment on that. I also have a tcl sound bar and subwoofer <which I love> so I also can't comment on the TV's speakers. However, I LOVE the color, clarity, resolution, quality and performance! For the cost, this television surpasses most expectations and is a great value for your money.

Great picture. Fairly easy to setup. We have cable so in the setup I had to use the Antenna Icon because the cable box doesnt have an hmdi connect. So it was a little confusing in finding the right icon for this type of cable box. Otherwise it went great.

The Roku software built in is amazing, I've been a user of another prime service for years and this roku software is superior and gives me all the apps I need plus it's own set of channels to watch. The TCL itself has a great screen with great image and I'd say average sound but it's a bedroom tv so not splurging on a bar.

We we looking for a new Tv, our old tv was going on 12 years old. Yes, very old lol. We wanted to weigh pros and cons into getting a new smart tv, like price, apps it contained and the picture quality. We ended up choosing the TCL Roku Series, we ended up choosing the 5 Series. We love the quality of the picture. The sound is splendid. It has almost any app you can think of from Netflix, WWE network, to Crackle. On the remote has a quick button to Netlix,Hulu, Roku channel and Espn . The price was perfect in our range. It comes with legs fo the TV if you want it to stand. We chose to hang ours on the wall. It has 4 Hdmi slots, a USB slot and a Headphone Jack. Everything perfect for just a great price.
