Nice ac for a small room. The room we need it for used to be 2 separate rooms so the ac is sufficient but not ice cold. This model is perfect for an average sized bedroom

It keeps our bedroom cool and comfortable. The controls are easy to use. It was more affordable than most and it doesn't add a lot of extra money to our electric bill. It's most definitely worth it and will buy it again! (We bought the service plan with it)

the installation was a little tricky you definitely need 3 people 2 for holding it in position especially if you have a high window and the 3rd person pushing the window part down and putting the screws in or just making sure the piece for holding it in the window is attached correctly

Great A/C. It gets a big living cooled off in no time! Looks really nice too. I love having a black air conditioner. It just looks stylish. One caveat, you can see all the grey dust and animal fur in the front slats, it gets pulled in. I still love it!

It fit in my shed's 16" window so now I am able to keep my home office comfortable. The long power cord reached the power outlet without the need for an extension. I was using a portable air unit but the amount of heat being generated thru the duct to the window was defeating the purpose for it (even after wrapping the duct in fiberglass insulation). But now the window unit puts all the heat outside where it belongs and only cool air fills the room.

It's spring, not even 80 degrees yet, and I can't get the 8x10 room more than passingly cool. It will need to be replaced again before it gets hot this summer. This does not cool an 8x10 room sufficiently in warm weather, forget hot. Pass on this one.

This AC came with 2 right-side window fillers. We installed it due to the heat, thinking I could contact the company for them to send me 1 left window filler, but you can't talk to a human and get anything accomplished; they are very irresponsible. Very unconcerned with your needs. I will not recommend this company for any product. Horrible experience. I even tried to order and pay for the part, could not even get that done. I am a senior citizen and have never dealt with a company so unconcerned with their customer satisfaction.

be sure and check your shipment. the bar that holds it in the window wasn't in the box..had to take to Walmart and of course they were out of stock..had to pay 75 extra to get another one which i really couldn't afford but needed a ac very frustrating

So disappointed. Only used 2 months, stored it in its box in my garage for the winter. Got it out and put it back in. Turned it on and the fan would not engage. Tried everything the manufacturer suggested and more. It is still under a one year warranty. Had called TCL four times since yesterday. Could only leave messages after having to go thru the same questions with their AI assistant. Received a call back finally today, spent another 15 minutes on the phone with a live agent. She stated that I would get an email with further instructions since it was still under warranty. I asked her how long to receive the email and she responded by the time we ended the phone call or about 15 minutes. It's now been 4 1/2 hours, I called again, same thing, leave a message. I know she got my email address correct, I spelled it to her and it's not in my spam folder. I just purchased another TCL air conditioner before I reinstalled this one and I am probably going to return it! If this company will not stand by their products with today's prices, it's NOT a company I want to buy from! Buyers Beware!!

Not good at all. It functions, but does not work efficiently. The air is not cool on the coldest settings, and what little bit it does put out, dissipates about wight inches feom the unit. Cannot even cool a single room.
