If I could rate this six stars I would. This item worked perfectly and easily. I've become so dependent on it. I will order one for every room in my home.

Many people in comments are saying they couldnt get it to work or there were no instructions. Mine DID come with insteuctions in a tiny folded paper. You must program/pair each unit to whichever number on the remote you would like first. Make sure the controller is working by pulling the plastic tab oit ans checking the blue light comes on when a button is pressed. HOW TO USE: You must press the button on the plug-in unit itself and HOLD until it blinks with a blue light, while still holding the button on the plug-in press one of the ON buttons for whichever number (1, 2 or 3) you would like to use on the remote. Release the button on the plug-in. That plug-in is now set to the number you pressed on the remote. You must do this with all 3 plug-ins. both oulet sockets on each plug-in are turned off or on at the same time with the remote. The 2 outlets on each plug-in are not seperately programmed, they will both work at the same time when the remote is pressed. I hope I helped anyone else who bought this and couldnt figure out how to get it to work! It does work, mine worked great! I am very happy with it
