Terro Outdoor Liquid Ant Bait Stakes, 8ct

I purchased this product five days ago because ants prevented me from enjoying my patio. I mounted the stakes as directed; however, I still see ants. The product description states it reduces the ant population within days. I will wait a few more days to see if the outdoor ant population will be eliminated.

Every year in the beginning of spring I have several batches of ants that get into my kitchen. So I spray with bug spray and I put out ant traps. Some years they even get into my bedroom. However this year I used these outdoor stakes. Put them into the ground at the edges of my house. No more ants!!! I will never use anything but these again. I only used one package. The directions on use are not quite clear so I used YouTube. And you do have to be able to get close to the ground and have a little strength to push them in.

This product does its job. The ants disappeared within days. It works fast! I like that your pets cannot get into it! It is very easy to use. Just twist off the tab and stick into the ground in your yard where you see ants crawling. They will be gone fast!

I use these and the flat clear trays every year and they work to keep ants out of the house. I put the stake style in a perimeter around my house. Probably around 15 or so and then I tape the trays to a couple of my outer window sills. Yes the flat trays are exposed to the elements but I believe they do help. Using both styles seems to work well for where I live.

It's that time of year again....ant season! We had a few spots in the yard with an unacceptable amount of ant activity and they were forming a lunch line into our crawl space. I put these stakes around the yard in spots they were forming ranks and they were under control in a few days. These did what our exterminator couldn't do and are a very good price comparatively. Easy to use and they do what they say they will do. Excellent. Will buy again.

Everything begins to come to life in the Spring including those big black ants %26 the tiny black ants ... All ants come marching in!! Terro is ALWAYS MY FIRST CHOICE when I want to rid them from my home. Both the inside and outside liquid ant baits (in various forms) begin working within hours you will notice less ants! Within 24 hours it is extremely difficult to even see an ant! There just aren't enough KUDOS for the Terro products, I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU PURCHASE IF YOU WANT TO RID YOUR HOME, GARAGE. SUNPORCH, DON"T LOOK FOR A BETTER OPTION, BECAUSE you WILL NOT FIND ONE!

I continue to come back to this product. Every year we have ant colonies crop up in some inconvenient places such as at the base of our mailbox (they then invade our mailbox in masses) and outside our kitchen window where they find ways to sneak inside. On an annual basis I return to this product and set up these Terro Ant Bait stakes in these two spaces and they just work! They work better than any other brand I have tried so I don't second guess it anymore and purchase these. They work quickly and within just a day or two I see immediate reduction and then elimination of the invasive ants. They are so easy to use, trim the opening and stick them in the ground where you need them. That is all.

I rarely review items. Only if they are especially good or especially bad. This product is VERY good. I have been fighting HUNDREDS of little sugar ants invading my home for the past few weeks. They are mostly in the kitchen, but also in the bathroom. I was using a spray that was very effective at killing the ants I could see. But the invasion would continue - usually within 24 hours. I put just 4 of these spikes in the ground right outside my kitchen. The first day it decreased the ants by 90%. Day 2 and beyond I only occasionally see an ant - maybe 5 ants per day.

The new casing isn't as good as the old stuff. It's flimsy plastic and hard to get into the ground vs the old stakes, but the formula seems to be the same and it does what it needs to do. If you have harder soil this may be difficult to stick into the ground.

The product works just fine. I just wish they would go back to the ones that sit on the ground because I think it makes it easier for the ants to get in there. It also makes it easier to set out on the ground.
