This aquarium is well worth what I paid for it. It fit perfectly in the space I wanted it for and it is the perfect size for a community tank. I've gotten so many compliments from friends when they come over and one friend has even decided to purchase one!

They definitely do not include a big enough filter, as the one I got said on the box itself it was for 5-10 gallon tanks in which I had a 20, so for the first few weeks it was very foggy and green until I ordered a separate $50 filter for it. Otherwise the tank itself has treated me very well ever since.

It's been working fine, no leaks. The heater was too small and not adjustable temp, I had to buy a better one. The filter intake tube (in the 20 gal tank) reaches 7" down, not even half way to the bottom. The filter manual recomends it should draw water from an inch from the bottom. The plastic tank cover/top smells bad a long time, I recommend getting a glass or metal aquarium top. The led light doesn't show the colors like a fluorescent bulb and could be brighter.

The aquarium itself is good, but the filter and heater leave much to be desired, especially for the price. Overall, it's quite okay, but I ran into a couple of issues. First, the heater doesn't maintain the temperature needed for guppies, platies, and other tropical fish — it holds around 24°C, while the ideal range should be between 25 and 27°C. This causes some problems. Second, there's an issue with the filter. After restarting it following a water change, I noticed that water is slightly leaking where the tube is. The filter is drawing in water and leaking not only from the main waterfall outlet, as it should, but also from the tube opening, causing overflow. I checked the filter bag — it's clean and not clogged — but for some reason, it's working like this, and I can't fix it. It used to work fine before. If anyone has experienced this and can offer advice, I would really appreciate it!

great starter kit, includes many necessities. however, the filter is horrible. i would suggest an immediate upgrade as it seems to make water worse rather than filter it

This is tall not long..does not state tall..I thought it was normal 20..kit is good but I did not get a stick on thermometer as it said was included..easy to put together..good brand but...needed to know the tall size..my stand just does hold it but need a shelf to be sure it won't fall..a long would have been perfect..

the 20 gallon tank had drips of glue all over the glass. The kit should have come with a PF 20 pump but had a PF 10 pump rated for 5 to 10 gallon tank. you can only call customer service at the manufacturer which is open Monday through Friday so my daughter is very disappointed that we can't set up her tank yet.

FedEx left it in front of my apartment building. didn't deliver to my apartment. i specific instructions it needed to be brought up to me. I'm on oxygen and have a bad knee. no one around to help and it would have been stolen if i waited for help. almost killed me carrying it up 3 floors

The lid is flimsy and light strip doesnt fitt the lid. ALSO the filter you sent me was the wrong size. This is a 20 gallon tank and the filter is for a 10 gallon. The heater doesnt get warm enough for most tropical fish. All and all this was a waste of my money and is a bunch of junk.
