[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the TevraPet Activate II Flea and Tick Prevention for Large Dogs (21-55 lbs) for free, and I am very impressed with how well it works! My dog spends a lot of time outdoors, and I’ve always worried about fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes. After using this product, I noticed a significant reduction in pests almost immediately. The application process was simple and mess-free. I really appreciate that it’s waterproof because my dog loves playing in the sprinklers and I don’t have to worry about the treatment washing off. Another big plus is that the package comes with a four-month supply, making it a convenient and cost-effective way to keep my dog protected. Overall, I feel confident that my dog is safe from fleas, ticks, lice, and mosquitoes. I would definitely recommend TevraPet Activate II to other pet owners looking for reliable and long-lasting protection!
Made the mistake of feeding stray cats so they started hanging around my house and sleeping here. I noticed my chihuahua started getting fleas and was constantly scratching herself and pulling her fur out of her skin to the point of bleeding. I gave her medicated showers that were specifically anti flea and were to alleviate itching but she was still having issues. I then tried flea and tick prevention chews but they didn't do anything, other than another snack for her. I was hesitant about this product because of the reviews and side effects it caused to other pets, but I knew it was my only option other than taking her to the vet for prescription anti flea pills. So I finally tried it and it's been a week. It was super easy to use on her and it completely worked, within the day she was barely even scratching herself and was immediately free of fleas by the end of the day. Her hair is growing back and I'm not having to wake up in the middle of the night because she's scratching herself, she's completely back to normal. Now she can go out and even if she's around the flea infested strays she has no issue because of this. I 100% recommend this! obviously all pets are different but it worked on my girl and i'm so thankful.
Frontline and Advantage have stopped working in the area I live. Apparently fleas can get a resistance after time. I used Wondercide cedar oil inside, granuels outside, Ortho Max spray on the perimeter and this product ( Advañtix 2) on my dogs. This is the first year I had to do all this. I prefer natural, but diatremetres earth was not working at all due to the humidity. I'm very grateful Advañtix 2 is working so well.
We camp often with our dogs in areas where there are mosquitoes, horse flies, fleas and ticks. Normally, we buy a collar but have noticed it doesn't work as great. The latest batch had made our dog sick! So we decided to use this monthly treatment by Terapet Activate II. I was skeptical at first because it sounded too simple. The package comes with four tubes (one for each month). You apply the liquid from the tubes to your dog's skin. It was easy to do. The dogs weren't freaked out by the process either. I was afraid it would have a nasty, chemical smell, but it smelled fine. We went camping in Utah, Idaho and Tenessee while we were visiting family this summer. We had even played in a lake. I was expecting the repellent to de-activate after they went for a swim, but it was fine. Each time the dogs came back tick-free, zero bites, and very happy! It's crucial to protect your dogs, especially from fleas and ticks. This is an affordable flea and tick repellent product that works great on large dogs, even ones with very thick fur. I've read it also kills their eggs as well.
I waited awhile before reviewing this product to get a real good idea on whether it worked or not on my pet. I have a 48 lb boxer mix and I live in south Florida. This time of year we see an abundance of fleas and I have her at the dog park everyday. I applied the product behind her ears, on her neck as instructed. She didn't seem to mind it and easily went about her day. She had been doing some intermittent scratching but within a couple of days, I no longer saw her affected by any itching. As the month went on, it continued to do its job - no fleas, no scratching!! Good product!!
This product is awesome I have a big dog that is dark brown. When I first got her I was concerned about not being able to see ticks on her. This stuff works as promised. Only 1 tick so far this season and it was walking on top of her fur which made it very easy to see pick off her and destroy. Works awesome on all of my dogs not a tick in site.
It is top notch! For the price it hasn't failed me yet! My puppy is so happy not ichy! Highly recommend
It works for my dogs and we live in the woods. More of a tick problem than fleas. Sure one or 2 might make its way (ticks) but all and all I'll recommend it and will be buying again. Oh and my dogs are in the creek almost everyday.
ive purchased this brand before from another retailer and it worked great so i decided to repurchased. i used this retailer because delivery was quicker. i dont know if i got a bad batch or what but my dogs still has fleas. such as waste of money
One of the packages was damaged and the liquid leaked out.
