This is a financial calendar for accounting, and was required by her college professor for the coursework. She has found it easy to use. There is a definite learning curve and the instructions are somewhat murky, but since she has access to her professor, it has been relatively painless. I was also happy it was reasonably priced for a specific calculator after shelling out mega bucks for graphing and other Specialty machines.
What can you say about a calculator? It does what it is supposed to do....it calculates. I needed this one for a finance class. I couldn't find one on the shelf anywhere in town, so I looked at several online retailers, and Walmart was the least expensive. They didn't have one in stock, but the ship to store option was next day. Great service! As far as a review of the calculator...I haven't had it very long, but so far, it works perfectly. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery. I think it uses a button-type battery. There is not a battery door on the back. It looks like 4 screws need to be removed to access/replace the batt. Solar power feature would have been nice. That's all I got. It's a calculator, and it works well.
[Employee of walmartcanada] I used to have the previous generation of this but had to buy a new one when I lost the original. The image shown on this page is the previous generation, but I believe you get the new one shipped to you since TI doesn't make the old one anymore. You can search the internet for what the new one looks like. It is redesigned and the build quality is so much worse, it feels like it would break as soon as it falls. The BA II Plus is the must have calculator for almost any finance related course, so there really is no way out of using it. This does the job of a financial calc, but I would recommend searching the used market for the older generation before you decide to buy the inferior quality of this new version.
I bought this item. If i try to trace my items i can see it has been delivered but nothing is being shown. I called the delivery guy for proof of delivery nothing has been given to me. I am really frustrated by the delay and dishonest of both the delivery team and the seller. They are not even putting any effort.
Never shipped out. Next to no information for over a week and then had to jump through hoops to get it all fixed and order a new one.
