My 6year old loved this set! He got this one and a couple others similar for Christmas and he loves to play with them all together as a "big world" he calls it. He was able to put it together himself and he hasnt really played many legos until then so Id say theyre easy enough to assemble.

My grandson likes his Lego building sets. He especially liked this one because it has so many pieces. He said it was the largest (in pieces) that he had ever put together. It really brought out his motor skills and his ability to follow directions while putting it together. It took a lot of patience and practice and I think that will help him in the future as he gets older.

I don't understand the draw of Minecraft, but my five year old really enjoyed this set. As a mom, I love that it provided a screen-free activity that required him to sit down, focus, and follow directions on his own without help. As a teacher, I appreciate the huge variety of skills Lego sets help develop like executive functioning skills (attention, focus, planning), spatial reasoning (a strong predictor for future math success), perseverance, problem-solving, STEM concepts (stability, gears, balance, etc.), fine motor development, etc. I also appreciate that they are tiny and don't take up much space. I can store them in a bag with the directions and my boys can rebuild them later or I can just toss the pieces in with our thousands of other Legos and they can use them to build something completely new (either from their imagination or something generated using the Lego app).

The Lego was a big hit! However, the Walmart experience was not. We wanted to purchase in store but the Walmart website was quite a bit cheaper and Walmart will not match their own site! Instead we purchased it online. Walmart then had to pay someone to pick the order and have it ready for pick up! Such a bad setup. We try to shop elsewhere when possible.

The Lego sets were on sale on the website at very reasonable prices. My kids love building Lego. So it was an easy decision. They arrived quickly as well.

This was bought on sale and will be saved for either a birthday or Christmas. It's made to cut next to another Minecraft set which is awesome. This has characters Minecraft fans love and when on sale Definitely worth it!

LEGOS are the only toys that kids prefer over screens. They are educational, engaging and encourage completion. They are pricey, but Walmart has sales, and I get a rebate so it's at least a little less expensive.

My 8 year old has built many sets himself but struggled assembling some of the pieces onto other sections with this one. It didn't quite meet my expectations as far a durability due to its design, even after finishing it, pieces fell off by simply transporting it. Overall, it's cool and would still recommend

I like the lego; but I ordered 4 different lego kits and only received this one. The Rest I think was cancelled. I received several emails about it but they were conflicting and confusing. Legos in general are expensive. That is not something you can control.
