The Pioneer Woman Sweet Romance Sewing Kit

I ordered this as a gift for a friend but unfortunately they put the sticker with my name and whatever else they use when getting your order together on top of the kit. I attempted to remove it but it's so sticky it's not looking pretty. Gave it 5 stars because it deserves it but I'm upset about the sticker

I can say I am very happy with the sewing kit. I know I have had other sewing kits, but this is the first time I have seen anyone attempt to match the pieces of the sewing kit so that it is easy to identify the components as parts of the sewing kit. Every piece is color and pattern coordinated to match the sewing kit so that no one can “borrow” your scissors and claim they didn’t know they were your sewing scissors. Another thing I like is the fact that the kit has so many components that I think are necessary for a sewing kit to be considered to be exceptional. One component is the pin cushion (complete with pins) for holding projects together and aligned. Having a seam ripper to remove a factory seam so you can adjust the length of pant legs for children is a very common sewing task. What makes this even easier is the needle threader and needle set in addition to the adjustable ruler to make sure that the seam remain even. I’ve owned a lot of different sewing kits, and this one is in a league of its own with the array of tools that are included inside. Honestly, you would pay a lot trying to get some of these pieces separately with other sewing kits.

Such nice sewing necessitites in this little zippered case. The scissor is large and nice - not the best for cutting material, but nice to have. Seam ripper/handy tape measure/pin cushion. I give these as graduation gifts for the gals and they have really enjoyed them.

Great Sewing Kit especially for one who is just starting to sew. The Pioneer Woman sweet roast floral sewing kit has a zippered case, which is really nice to store your sewing notions. The kit includes a 6" metal seam gauge, 8" fabric scissors, 60" plastic-type tape measure, 20-count assorted hand sewing needles, 35 ball head common pins, needle threader with plastic flower handle, a really nice seam ripper, and a cute old fashioned style pin cushion. The kit is very colorful too! I highly recommend this kit.

This is a great kit for those just starting out. It has plenty of room to store thread in addition to everything it comes with. The fabric scissors are great… super sharp. The zipper goes almost all the way around to allow for easy access to the contents. The floral design on the scissors, pin cushion and case are an added bonus. So cute!

I absolutely should've read the description of this more carefully before ordering. I was really hoping to have a fully outfitted sewing kit, with this, but it's not at all substantial. I thought the case would be more heavy duty - it's just a soft plastic bag, really. And the kit contains the bare minimum tools for sewing - with the glaring exception of any thread, or buttons, like I used to expect in a sewing kit. No thimble. A seam ripper and tape measure that I probably don't need, for basic hand sewing. Disappointed.

Cheap plastic case. Sewing Pins are very short, dull and half of them will not even penetrate the pin cushion.

They need to put items that are truly useful. These things can be found in any dollar store kit. Everything is cute but that's about it.

Pioneer sew kit, very thin, pricing way over priced - this set $5 most. The pic should be changed, misleading. Very thinly made, the scissors and pin cusion are not worth $13 or $17, the rest is so non quality, $5 tops whole thing. That said, I would not buy this again. Be prepared for a thin case - it collapses after you take the plastic out - that's the fake out -- . I purchase lots of Pioneer gal stuff %26 this was the 1st one I tried that fell short - I will have to find another -.

someone put a sticker on the plastic front cover of the case. i tried 3 times to get the glue off. This was a gift. It looks terrible . I would please like a new one that does not have a sticker on. If they have to put a sticker on then just put it on the tag. As soon as i get a new one I will send this one back. not happy with it.
