THE ROCK by Starfrit Fry Pan with Bakelite Handle, 9.5"

This pan is not too heavy, but performs well using low to medium heat. It cooks evenly and browns nicely. I use the smallest bit of oil or butter and food slide out of the pan and do not stick. I have washed it in the dishwasher, but it is also easy to hand wash because nothing sticks. The bottom as a metal ring and the rest is the same material as the interior. The handle is comfortable to grip. I would buy this again and buy other sizes as well.

Sturdy and excellent heat distribution. Easy to clean and nothing sticks to it. I bought the next size up and will buy others as needed

Have compared many non stick pans and this one seems to have the best bang for the $. Even heat distribution with no hot spots. Non-stick surface is excellent.

I absolutely love the rock series of cookware! I have the pot set with the kettle and all lids then I had to have the skillets from small to the larger deep skillet. I even bought the wok!! I say toss ur Teflon and get the Starfrit Rock series! U owe it to urself!

I love the rock fry pans. They last longer than any other non stick pan and they are not toxic.

This is the 3rd Starfit The Rock pan I have purchased. Love them ALL but this pan is particularly versatile with its depth and lid. I have used it for stews, stir fries, grilled steaks etc etc. I have cooked just about everything in this pan and it cleans up easily and perfectly every time! I hve thrown out all my other non stick pans and use The Rock pans exclusively!

This is a great alternative to a Teflon coated skillet. It does begin to stick ....but it took our last one about a year before it did.

Tried this out on a whim, and I absolutely love it! I don't have to use as much oil/butter, so when I am trying to fry or sautee during the week for meal prep (when baking gets old) this does the trick. I even do scrambled eggs with cheese in this pan and the cheese does not stick. Will be definitely checking out the rest of the pans if i need anything else.

Bought 3 different sizes. Have only used the largest one and it is awesome. I usually use a medium heat and have had no problems so far with food sticking or with hot spots. Cleanup is a breeze. Have not tried searing meat so cannot comment on that function. Overall I am happy that I found these on Walmart, and the price was decent.;-)

Kinda disappointed. I buy a lot of Starfrit products and i bought this to replace one I bought about 3 years ago that I love, but the bottom has warped and it cooks uneven now. From the get-go, this one is not heavy like my existing one and it appears like none of their others are either.
