Very Disappointing Salty Zatar
I've been eating Zarar for as long as I have been alive. I typically buy it overseas and bring it with me. Well, we ran out and I decided to try something new. I picked this especially because it is Kosher. Well, first bite I felt the sand ground up between my molars (teeth) the Zatar looks too green and is very very salty. Adding too much salt to Zatar is a tactic to cheapen the cost and make more profit. Also, too many stick are in the Zatar showing that the Zatar leaves were not picked right before they were ground. All in all, I'm very sad and my kids do not like this Zatar. We opened it and threw away the bag and it is probably too late to return.
