I really like Thera Tears Liquid Gel Eye Drops. I have very dry eyes so my eye doctor told me to use eye drops every day, rather than waiting until they get so dry that I have to use eye drops. So I use Thera Tear Liquid Gel every morning as part of my routine. My eyes don't feel dry now, even when I don't get enough sleep. Thera Tears is very gentle and the ingredients are rated as very safe per The Environmental Working Groups website. Many other eye drops have harmful chemicals, but Thera Tears doesn't. Thera Tears has a regular formula too. I've used both formulas but the Liquid Gel is thicker and works better and lasts a long time. You need to use it early enough in the day, such as part of your morning routine, because it makes your eyes blurry for 3 minutes. Nothing bad, but you don't want to drive a car like that. I use them after I bathe so by the time I've dried off, my eyes aren't blurry.
This product works great! I have Graves disease and my eyes dry out all the time. Compared to the other products that WalMart sells to lubricate your eyes, this has a great price too!
THIS PRODUCT PROVIDES THE LUBRICATION MY SEVERELY DRY EYES NEED FOR OVERNIGHT USE. INDIVIDUAL VIALS SAFER, MORE SANITARY THAN GELS IN A TUBE. WALMART PRICE FOR THIS PRODUCT $3.00 CHEAPER THAT NEXT LOWEST.
i have been using Thera tears liquid gel eye drops for about2 or 3 years from the American canyon Walmart store but lately they a not restocking for as much two weeks leaving the bin empty. i have very severe dry eye and they are not supplying my needs.
I started using Thera Tears many years ago. I started out with the regular preservative free drops, but since my eyes have gotten severely dry, I now use the liquid gel drops. I like how they come in individual packages which makes it nice to carry in your purse. If you put them in the refrigerator it really feels so good to put the chilled drops in your eyes too.
These eye drops are the best! Use them in the morning and at night. Have very dry eyes and this works so much better than anything else I've tried. They do make your eyes a little blurry for about 5 minutes, so plan accordingly. Make sure to get the 'nighttime dry eye therapy' as the new box design states. To show how good they are, previously used eye drops 5 times a day before finding these. You owe it to yourself to try these.
Makes wearing contact lenses more comfortable when dryness is an issue -- and no stinging!!! Can dry flakey if you use 3 drops at a time and make it look like you don't wash your face well (HAHAHAHA), but who cares when you have something that works without pain and discomfort.
i have been using these eye drops for about two years,i like they recently changed the design of the vials i liked the old vials better because of my severe dry eye condition i can only get two applications out of each vial i used to get three. and the cap is a lot harder to put on.
The gel is short lived after applying it. i didn't feel this lubricated my eyes any different than systane dry eye relief. it just made my eyes blurry for a little bit.
Not sure why, but these drops actually made my eyes feel dryer and "stickier." I've used lots of other brands of eye drops without any trouble, but these were uncomfortable. Sorry--wish I had a good review! Soothe and Refresh have both worked very well for my dry eyes. I returned the TheraTears and got Soothe drops. Jen
