The mr300 was a replacement for an older model that took upwards of 30 clicks to light if it even lit. I use it for hunting and the old model was just to noisy. The mr300 works great one click and its working. 100% satisfied with it. I have to give credit to the sales staff because they did give me a discount on the purchase. I really wanted the older model fixed and was told it would cost more to fix then to replace the unit.

This works great. If you follow the instructions and let it sit for 15 minutes in the area where you'd like to repel the bugs, prior to sitting there, it works perfectly. Our patio is 5 ft by 16 ft and we just set it between us on our table and the mosquitos clear out quick. It is pet safe and doesn't stink which is a bonus.

Easy to replace everything when they run out. Easy to light. Easy to hook on to belt or stand. As a bow hunter, being still is essential. It's hard to do that with bugs trying to eat you! Scent is also crucial, therefore bug sprays are out of the question. The Thermacell is a MUST for early season!

If you hunt where there are mosquitos you MUST have one of these!! They absolutely work as advertised creating an invisible barrier around you that keeps those blood thirsty bugs at bay!! We hunt the marshy areas on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay - at times I will set up two Thermacells in my stand as the insane numbers of the mosquitos there can "carry you away" LOL

I have used it twice and it works great. The starter kit was excellent, because it came with back up mats and butane cartridges. The clip is a little flimsy, but besides that, no complaints

We were in the U.P. So they were pretty thick- they helped but certain Mosquitos didn't seem to notice- also takes 7 or 8 minutes to start working- one of ours broke when the on/off switch broke.......

I don't know if the mosquitoes of my central Florida home are more persistent than others but this doesn't seem to work in my backyard. In fact, I even have a picture of a mosquito resting on the device itself. I've tried letting it sit outside by itself for a bit before going out with my seemingly delicious skin and blood, but that didn't help. I'm pretty surprised because this was recommended by a friend who uses it while hunting in literal swamps.
