Love this fish sauce - use it in Pho, Kimchi, salad dressings. Its got a lovely complex flavor with a hint of sweetness compared to other brands. I don't mind the extra ingredients and love the final production- but each to their own. If you want a brand that is just salt and anchovies - Squid is the way to go at a lower price point than Red Boat, it's stronger and great for adding to things that will cook for longer.

This is my favorite patis because the saltiness is just right. Not too bland and not too salty. Does not taste fishy. The price is a lot higher than at the Asian store . That's only $8.98 at the store.

Must have in kitchen.
I use this instead of soy sauce for marinade meat,fish or seasoning for making beef soup, etc. perfect tasty yet very simple.

Empty package.
Package was EMPTY except Bubble wrap only was inside. Weight says it was over 2lbs- which is false. It was sent via fed ex. Doesn't Fed ex weight the packages???
