Such a pretty looking board and it's also very good quality. With the quality comes heaviness though so be prepared for a little arm work when washing. Its sturdy and doesn't move around when chopping. Mine hasn't faded or shown signs of deuteriation.

I put one on each side of my stove, to easily set hot items on. The colors are warm and lighten up the area. I applied food-safe cutting board oil before using to protect the surfaces. They look good after a quick, soapy clean-up and the silicone pads keep them stable at all times. I discarded my plastic cutting boards to reduce our plastic exposure.

Yes, if you slice it it will cut. Its wood, that what all wood, metal, plastic does. It is what it is. You can use it or stare at it. Either way you will be happy you bought it. We used to oil butcher block tables.

It's super heavy, just so you know. It's a pain to wash due to this but it is the best cutting board I own.

This board is beautiful but it has a smell that's not appealing in the kitchen, and I expected the wood to be harder. At week 2 this board is wanting to sliver.

It looks beautiful but when I opened it, it smelled a little strange but more concerning, the middle piece of wood had slivers and small pieces of wood came off when i washed and dryed it. For context I did order it for delivery through the app. However, for being almost 30 dollars i was expecting a bit better quality. Maybe i got a bad one.

The wood of this cutting board literally smells like stain. I called the company but they didn't believe me. Would not buy this unless you want all your food to taste like wood stain.

If you want your fruit and veggies to smell/taste like BBQ then this cutting board is for you. The wood they use is so strong smelling that the food you're cutting takes on that taste. Do not recommend.
