Thyme & Table Damascus Knife, 2-Piece Set

A couple of years ago I bought the bigger knife. It was %233 of similar knives of other brands. In my knife block I kept reaching for it over and over. The handle, weight and balance is wonderful for what I thought was a "cheap knife" I never expected the quality. Scrolling as I always do... I found the 2 smaller knives with the same type handle and thought, "Why not?!" They are very good knives and especially at this price! I ended up ordering yet another one of the big knives. Bought a smaller knife block and got rid of all the knives except these. The one a bought before still slices through a tomato like you see stuff on TV. I've never had to sharpen it. It just was always dirty and I was having to wash it just to keep up with whatever I was making at the time... thus the purchase of the 2nd. I find the 2 smaller knives to be just as good. I'm thinking of ordering another set of them, for the same reason as the 2nd purchase of the bigger one. The way they feel in my hand is just great. Even after years in culinary school, and food service, These are by far the best feeling knives in my hands. Don't let the lower price, or brand fool you. These are great! Going to get some for both of my DILs for Christmas next time around. I will buy them again and again!

I now havethe complete set of the Thyme and Table Damascus Knives. These knifes punch way above their price point. The quality of these knives are excellent and the edge on them lasts. I completely recomment the whole set of the Damascus Material.

I love a nice knife set. It makes dinner prep so quick and easy. I also love the knife guards that come with them. I have little ones and not so little ones who will just stick their hands in a drawer and dig for things even if the drawer is full of knives.

These knives are gorgeous and super handy in my kitchen! From pealing potatoes to slicing big roasts, this set does it all! I do hand wash all of my knives and expect these to last a lifetime for me properly cared for. Just the right weight in my hand and they slice and cut wonderfully!

Very nice knife set. I love the handles on them and the feel of the handle nice and smooth. Comes with the protective sheaths on them. Very sharp and cut and slice well. Two different sizes 3.5 and 5" come in the package. I like the way they cut meat and cheese i use them to slice so many things. Comes with paring and the utility knife.

The two piece set is a space saver because of the many uses that both knives provide without purchasing a huge, unnecessary set. They are sharp and cut through fruit, vegetables, meat, desserts, or whatever needs to be cut with ease. The blade covers keep you safe while not in use. They are well made and very durable. This set would be a great gift for upcoming weddings or birthdays, or a just because for those who enjoy cooking. Keep these knives in a safe place if you have little helpers considering they are really sharp.

I am so impressed with these knives. The weight is solid. The handle sits comfortably in my hand. They are hammers steel. The 2 piece set has a utility knife & a paring knife. The edge on the knifes is extremely sharp (be careful), & easy to sharpen. I personally don’t put them in the dishwasher. I simply hand wash with dish soap & hand dry. The set I got is a 2 piece set. I wanted to try them out before a large investment in an entire set. It will be a pricey purchase, but I believe this will be the last set I ever have to buy. I am definitely going to buy an entire set.

These are coated high-carbon steel, not stainless. (My Dad always said that any knife that wouldn't rust wasn't worth a dang). I imagine the coating will minimize rust. These knives are quite sharp (and pointed) when you get them, and come with snap-on protective sheaths, which is nice. They have nice handles also. The manufacturer does recommend AGAINST putting them in the dishwasher.

This is a great set for the daily snacks/lunches, when you can never seem to find anything clean. They passed the splicing paper test, so they come fairly sharpened, and the handle is smooth and easy to grip. Time will tell how well they hold up around the plastic/metal seam, but they're a good set for the time being!

I was really excited on the look of these Thyme & Table Damascus Knives. The knives are packed in a plastic bubble package. they come with blade protectors and sheaths for storage. The blades are very, very pretty! they feel good in your hands. the reason for lower stars? they were not as sharp as I would like a new knife to be. but, I will also say, most knives dont past my squishy tomato test. but after using them for a few weeks, I do have to say they wash nicely and hold up well.
