Thyme & Table Dot Ceramic Salad Plate Black and White

Beautiful design. This is so pleasing to look at, use, and wash. I swore I wouldn't buy any new dishes and I haven't in probably 20 years, but, I got reeled in after buying a couple of pieces that were going to just hold sugar packets and salad. I had to clean out a cupboard to get these, but worth it.

I used this pattern as part of my table decoration for a Ladies luncheon at church, it turn out better than imagined.

This is an extremely heavy duty salad plate. I really like the design And it matches with my other plates and decor nicely. This plate is really iffy about microwaving because it does have a gold rim. Sparks will fly. I did not try it have had experience with other plates.

This lovely salad plate somewhat alarmed me at first. I inherited china with gold rims, so I know it must all be washed by hand since it is not dishwasher-safe. I was surprised that such an elegant salad plate would be from Walmart. Then I turned the plate over. It is dishwasher-safe. After I used the plate in a taco buffet, I hesitantly loaded it in the dishwasher along with everything else. After all, it had said it was dishwasher-safe. I felt a little nervous, but started the cycle anyway. Afterward, I pulled out a perfectly clean dish while my jaw dropped. The beauty of the dish stands on its own. What has amazed and greatly pleased me is the thoroughly practical nature of this graceful stoneware piece.
