Thyme & Table Stoneware Bowl, Black Onyx Collection

I have tried expensive black dishes before- always scratched easily, or lost the color after many dishwasher cleanings- so I thought, for 4 dollars and some change each, these were worth a trial. I bought four plates and four bowls. They were fantastic and look brand new after several months of usage. They are so pretty and highlight our food so well ( from sushi to spaghetti) I bought four more of each just recently-Autumn meals will be especially comforting and delicious served from this set. I have to say, I'm obsessed!

This bowl is wonderfully surprising as to how heavy and heavy duty it seems to be made. I love the matte color and gold trim. Beautiful and elegant. Great for soup, small salad or anything you please! Dishwasher and microwave safe and absolutely perfect for dinner with company or just every day too.

This bowl has a good weight to it and is strong and sturdy. I also love the matte black finish and metallic trim. I'm planning on completing the set with other matching pieces and using it for Thanksgiving dinner later this month. Very excited about using this chic new set for holidays!

This bowl is so sturdy and well made. I love it and use it for much more than just soup. Its very versatile and I use it for salads, meals, etc. My daughter loves using it for her big bowl of snacks or popcorn. I am very impressed with this brand and I hope to buy other products from them. I recommend to anyone looking for homey and stylish tableware.

I received this bowl and although I really like it, there's nothing spectacular about it. I think it's note for people that like to entertain and and want their tableware to look really nice. I've been using the same bowl set since I got married twelve years ago. I find them to still be better and thicker than these. They are pretty cool looking. I received one bowl so I guess it'll just be for me, but I don't plan on adding to it to get a whole set. It's just not that serious to me.

The soup bowl looks really nice on the table. The size is perfect for one plate of soup. The color makes it look elegant. The material is not high quality, after a few washes you can start noticing some scratches from the spoon. I placed a fork inside the plate for size reference.

This is a nice piece, but the shipping and packaging are dreadful. They literally pack them loosely in paper. Each time I have received them they have been smashed beyond recognition. Not getting anywhere with customer service as they want to blame it on the carrier and they just re-ship and the same thing happens despite me asking for them to pack it differently. I've tried 3 times. It's a beautiful piece if it would come packed correctly. Unfortunately, not available in the stores.

One of my bowls was broken during shipping. Not packaged properly to avoid breakage during transit. I am now short one not happy about it
