I am one of those crazy people that still uses a red pencil to mark errors on the children's assignments. While I haven't used these yet since they are for the upcoming school year, I have typically used only this brand since the red is dark enough and the leads seem to stay nice and don't crush when used.

The I was happy that the eraser does erase all the led even though it's red. These are very easy to grip . They are great for studying homework with your kids too the red led makes it a bold look for pointing out key points or hints. Very neat pencil to have we will be purchasing more .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the pencil to proofread and edit a paper I was working on . The red color is bright and clear and it writes very well .. The pencil sharpened easy with a electric sharpener and a manual one . The only con is that I had to do a lot of erasing to get the complete color erased off the paper .
