Tide Clean and Gentle Powder Laundry Detergent, Unscented, 77 oz, 68 Loads

I have a very old top load washer that is still going strong and it seems to work better with the powdered detergents so I switch off and on between All, Arm and Hammer, and Tide, all unscented because I have very sensitive skin and allergies. I don’t use as much detergent as recommended because the loads are smaller than the new washers available now. The Tide Clean and Gentle is my favorite of the three, but if one is on sale I get whatever is on sale to be honest, so I’m very happy when I get a good deal and especially happy when I can get a deal on Tide unscented.

Glad they brought powdered version back. The contents is not longer full to top (kinda like opening a bag of chips, looks full but its not), and I've noticed sometimes a box is missing the scoop, but it cleans well and is great for sensitive skin, so it works for me. I like to see suds in my washer and this gives you just that.

I am delighted that a scent free powder detergent is again available from Tide. I have a top load Speed Queen with traditional controls and a very large stainless tub. The pod versions of detergent do not allow for soft water, which uses less product than what is packaged in pods. My clothes are clean, without the fragrance overload of other powders.

I use liquid Tide Free %26 Clear for my husband and grandkids' laundry due to their sensitivity.. But the Tide Clean and Gentle Powder I use for sheets and towels - I prefer powder and it seems to have a stronger cleaning activity in hot water. It still is gentle on sensitive skin. Thanks.

The best unscented laundry detergent in my opinion. Everything always comes out fresh and clean including my husbands filthy work uniforms. This product works well in hard water and always dissolves conpletly leaving no residue. It is hard to find so glad I could find it at Walmart and at a decent price.

Best and most effective unscented detergent I've ever used. I did not notice any scent whatsoever, and my clothes came out noticeably cleaner than they have in years, even just using 2 tablespoons. It is very difficult to find a powdered unscented detergent, let alone one that actually works and is in a cardboard box! This checks all of the boxes. 10/10. Highly highly recommend!

I like the fact that this tide does not have any perfume or dies, so I am not paying for that extra weight and it cleans better than most and I mean most laundry detergent. Also the powder comes in a package that is not plastic. A lot of the plastic ones they cannot even recycle.

I had high hopes for this detergent since I needed something unscented, but unfortunately it just didn't deliver on cleaning power. After several washes, my clothes started looking dingy rather than fresh. The biggest issue was what it did to my black clothing. They faded and lightened noticeably after just a few wash cycles, which is the opposite of what you want from a "gentle" formula. I gave it a fair shot, thinking maybe I was using too much or too little, but adjusting the amount didn't help. The powder also didn't dissolve as well as I expected in cold water. The one silver lining: I live in a rural area where many families struggle to afford name-brand products. When I decided to pass this along, it was gone within hours. Tide is considered a luxury around here, so at least someone else got use out of it. I just wish it had actually worked for me. Back to searching for an unscented option that won't wreck my darks.

Ordered this because I assumed it would be fragrance free. no where on the box does it state a fragrance, and it is listed for sensitive skin as UNSCENTED! But it has a VERY strong smell.

This is NOT actually UNSCENTED!!! “Clean and gentle” has a strong perfume fragrance that I could smell before I even opened the box. If you’re someone like me who has severe allergies and sensitivities, this made me feel extremely nauseous and initiated a headache.
