Tide PODS 3 in 1 Laundry Detergent Pacs, Spring Meadow, 81 Count

My family has always been a Tide supporter for the simple fact that it does what it has promised. It cleans, makes my clothes smelling good, doesn't make the colors fade.

This stuff is unbelievably good! I used to think that I had to wash on hot-hot. As hot as possible... Instead, I found out that if I wash on cold with this stuff, all gets wayyyyy cleaner. I do use a front loader at my son's place. A big one. And I can run it for 1 hour or more with extra water. I do a ton of laundry because I run an Airbnb. The laundry never stops. Additionally, I found out that EVEN the long runners with rubber under mat, can be put in the front loader and come out looking like new. I don't have to toss them anymore once they begin to look dirty. Even heavy stains come out. I am totally hooked on it. And very surprised how well it works. The key is may be: the combi of time (longer than 30 min) and extra water choice, and then this Pod 3in1. Whatever. It works super good. Better than any detergent I ever used and I am a clean freak. Just amazing.

The spring meadow scent leaves a refreshing odor when blended with soiled laundry and the pods make doing laundry simpler all you do is throw one in and you're all set to go and there's no mess to clean up afterwards with no residue or streaks left on your content. Overestimating or underestimating how much detergent to use per load and having to depend on the markings of a single lid was a nuisance with the liquid tide detergent I found.

The purchasing process was a bit rough, but Walmart was very quick to correct the issue.

At first glance, everything appeared to be fine when we first opened product and started using it. The first few pods on top were fine. But further down we found pods all clumped up and stuck together with some kind of sticky glue like substance, it was a mess

I dislike remarks about the packaging of a product, but in this case all my remarks refer to the packaging. Manufacturers we do not have hack saw in the laundry room to cut the tape on the package. We do not have a chain saw to get the cover off. Cannot comment of the pods as I could not get the container open. Maybe indeed it is child proof.

I've tried adding Lysol rinse, oxygen booster, etc; in hopes of salvaging these pods. They stink so bad. Previous reviews show the manufacturer is aware of this. It's not my washer, and I'm a competent adult who has been washing clothing for years. Please do not offer a condescending excuse for a lack of quality control.

Our laundry has a strong chemical smell after using these pods. We didn't know what was causing the smell initially, but after rewashing our laundry with a different detergent and then using these pods later on new laundry and reading other reviews, it's clear this is caused by the pods. We are wasting money on pods, time and money on the re-washes. We have been lifelong Tide customers, very disappointing.
