I use this a lot. It does not sand as well as the red version, but it stays wet longer, which can be useful if you need for time for a glue up. It is waterproof and can be used for exterior purposes, although, I prefer to use gorilla glue original polyurethane glue for exterior purposes
I used the glue to put together a subwoofer box. I built it over a few days working a few hours at night then letting it dry overnight. The glue is strong. Kind of runny for projects on a vertical angle. But if your gluing something horizontally you're fine.
Keeping the top/tip clean was an issue for me, but surely there is a way to keep it clean and unclogged. I don't know if the instructions mention tip-cleaning. Once the tip was clogged, I poured glue out of the bottle - and smoothed it as needed. This Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue bonds very well - applying wood to wood. Before repairing the exterior of my damaged wood garage, I glued wood pieces to 2 holes inside of my garage - using bricks to keep the pieces in place for 24 hours, to dry. I've also used this wood glue for other projects also. It is for interior and exterior use. Although I am unsure how this wood glue will work for SMOOTH wood - like a new office desk unit, I recommend for wood-to-wood repair projects.
I make bird houses and crosses. This Titebond 111 ultimate glue is water proof for outdoor use. It makes a very strong joint on wood. My birdhouses are rained on and outside and it works very well. If you are in need of a lot of glue it also comes in gallon jugs for around $30.00.
This is a wood glue you can count on..it isn't a marine glue (for underwater) but it is certainly water resistant and it gives enough time to get clamps in place especially if you glue both sides and let it get a little tacky before you press them together, I found I get less ooze out on the sides when I do that. Place a thin layer on each piece. Wipe off any excess with a damp cloth while it is still wet... not dry because once it dries it will have to be sanded away. It doesn't mess with finishes or paint when it has dried. Dries to a light yellow/tan, wish they had a clear but this is better than any other wood glue I have used. My husband used it for years making two piece Native American Flutes and never had one separate due to moisture breaking down the glue seam...that's how I was introduced to it. Highly recommend it for strong wood joining projects...much of my furniture is holding up well because of it!
Best product ever, works amazing and a great deal I got on a 2pack for a very good price and arrived as fast as the next day....definitely recommend 😀
this is the best wood glue I've ever used, and I've used them all. Walmart has a great price. and they keep it in stock which is a plus.
The bottle I received had been used. There was glue in the cap. When I took off the lid there was a lump of simi dried glue. The glue it's self is a good product.
I use this because it is good for cutting boards . The only thing I don't like is after a wile the cap gets hard to open.I mix this glue with saw dust to make food safe wood filler
Product is, or should be good. I'm disappointed in the fact that the container was opened previously. Most likely someone wanted just a bit, but wouldn't pay for it....used then return.
