I have been installing security cameras and ordered this one, the installation was very simple and after getting the app on my iPhone I had it all set up in few minutes. The picture quality is excellent and I get motion alerts on my phone, price is very reasonable . For app set up just the bar code needs to be scanned making it easy . I highly recommend this camera.
The camera movements are easily controlled from the app and it accepted my 128GB micro SD without issue. The app seems easy to use with lots of features. I pointed it out a picture window successfully detected someone walking by on the patio. It even tracked his movements. So far this will work great for monitoring a rental unit that I have.
This camera performs exceptionally well. At least from my perspective as an engineer, this camera is extremely power-efficient. The solar panel and built-in battery have low power ratings, but this doesn't affect its performance at all; even just one or two hours of charging during the day is sufficient. Furthermore, it has very low light sensitivity; at night it switches to black and white mode, and the image is still very clear. The motion detection recording feature is also excellent and very accurate. Its viewing angle is also very wide, possibly close to 180°. In short, I am very satisfied with this camera; it was a very satisfying purchase.
The camera is easy to install, connecting wifi, quility of vedio is perfect. The important point is local store in SD card, no need monthly pay for cloud storage
This camera is super easy to set up. Just connect the power supply to an outlet, mount the bracket on a wall or post and then download the app from the app store (Apple or Android). Once you have the app open, connect to the camera by scanning the QR code on the camera and then you are connected. Operation of the camera is easy. You can pan and tilt the camera from the app. If any motion is detected, you can have the camera send you a message. Storage of any recorded data can be either in the cloud (subscription required) or store it locally on a microSD card. Overall, I am very happy with this security camera.
i am very impressed with the quality of these cameras, both in the day and at night. I have not messed with the sensing aspects much, because i wanted continuous recording. I may have to adjust the solar panels for a couple, because the battery goes down more than expected, however they have rarely gone below 50%. And, if they do, they go into a power save mode and record when there is movement. So, even then I still have surveillance when it's needed most. Worst case scenario, I will give those cameras dedicated power, but I don't know yet that I need to.
This is an excellent outdoor camera. I installed it in my apt balcony and it comes with all the screws and mounts to install it firmly. Set up was pretty simple; basically inserting a micro SD card, turning it on, and then setting up in the app. The app is pretty awesome; gives you full control of the camera, you can move it around and it gives very nice real-time video in color and B%26W. The app also lets you record/save video and take photos. Very impressed with it and highly recommend. Btw, it is wired (must be powered with the attached power adapter) and supports direct ethernet or wifi (only 2.4G).
They do not record full time, and the sensativity is not great. They will only record instances within 30' of the camera and don't catch ever event.
1 of the cameras has failed and I cant get the seller to respond to my request for a replacement unit. They have not replied to my email , I have filed a request through their website and through Walmart on 2 different attempts, no response
Purchased and tried several 32 GB micro memory cards, this device will not accept any of them does not work unless you buy a service trying to return items
