There are several things you need to know and look for in a jumper cable for cars. These jumper cables has it all. 1) The cables needs to be a heavy gauge (4ga) wire in order to carry the 400-600 amps that your car starter needs. Anything less and you run the risk of melting the battery cables. 2) The battery clamps need to have teeth for both side mount and top mount batteries. You never know where you will be able to connect the battery clamps. 3) The length of the cables need to be enough to go not only from one car to the next but that extra distance when you can't get close to the stalled car. I got the four gauge 25 foot those you can you can park in the back of somebody's pick up jumper cables up and pull them around and start another person's vehicle. They're very handy. The only thing I could've got was it would've been a two gauge four gauge is plenty enough to carry a voltage and amperage to start another vehicle well well worth of money.

These jumper cables are the perfect size to go from truck battery to truck battery when you cant be nose to nose. They are heavy duty, and easily wound back up to go in the case.
