TP-Link AC750 Wi-Fi 5 Dual-Band, Range Extender with Speedy 750 Mbps Transfer Rate, Smart Roaming for Stable Wireless Coverage, Ethernet Port to Direct Connect a Device - RE750C

I was able to setup this extender using the Tether app and it connected to my WiFi fairly quickly. My modem is too far to connect an Ethernet cable to, so I connected one to the extender to strengthen the internet connection of my PS5 and it's doing exactly what I needed it to do!

At first it wasn't working. Got frustrated and disappointed, then tried the good ole "unplug and plug back in" method. It was my Roku with the issue. Soon as I restarted it....LIGHTNING FAST. I have a LONG hallway to my bedroom and was barely getting a signal to my Roku...wouldn't work. It does now! Better than ever. Install is easy-peasy.

Connect to the router was easy then just move to new location. Set up "auto connect" on your iPhone to the extender. Need to have pretty clear shot of router, though I have a wall between the two. I tried putting it between two walls but that didn't work well. The extender lost contact with the router. I moved it to an outlet at the edge of the door and it has been working fine. It connects to devices under my pergola outside, though glass windows.

Took me 5-6 minutes to install. Using in my 4 bedroom apt that offers fiber internet in the community. Hooked it up to my router in less than 4 minutes and relocated it to my hallway. So far my TV is not lagging anymore and the kids say their iPad and iPhones are working better.

I was in happy shock! Easy to hook up, great price and it's the only one I've purchased that works. And perfect!! I live in a metal garage home conversion, and it is super hard to get signal from next door in my house because of all the metal. But this knocked it out of the ballpark.

This is the first time I've used a WiFi Extender. Out of the box, it's easy to setup. However setting it up again using the app, gave me more features. For the money, it's doing it's job, barely. Seems to get warm, I turned it upside down so the vent holes could exhaust the heat better. The "top" is not vented. I have a very difficult building, so your results might be different, the graph shows I'm getting about 65% signal at my camera in the current "mandated" setup vs the initial setup with 2 extenders. Just barely workable (some connection issues and stuttering live feed). Any less function at the camera, and I would have to try a more expensive extender. I tried a second extender, same model, there was an improvement at the camera, but I was told to make due with a single extender. I didn't bother trying to use 2 for more than a few hours of setup testing. I don't know if it would have been what totally solved the camera connection issues. My router probably needs to be updated too. I had a recessed outlet available, the plug just barely reached, so I used a simple 3 to 2 plug prong adapter to extend the plug. It's only been running a couple of weeks at the time of this review 8/'25

OK so I play call of duty on my PlayStation five and I was lagging so bad and it was probably the servers but once I added this to the room i play in, I definitely have noticed a big change and I have children who play games too so it's nice to have better service!

Only buy this one I'd you have a smaller apartment or a tiny home, it kept dropping off and I had to move it closer to my router so that it would connect with my printer and computer, the signal is 750 square feet and I needed more than that so it's in between the two rooms that I need it for, before I had to wait for the buffering to stop before I could get things printed out. Now I have a different one and it's a 8500 square feet dual band and they work together great.

Getting it to connect was not easy. Once I did, the speeds did not reach 100 Mbps. 92 to be exact running a wire from the adapter. On WiFi extension it was in the 60's Mbps. This was with a direct line of sight from router about 15 feet away. For Internet browsing and low quality videos then this will work for you.

This is not what I needed. Tried to return it unopened and Walmart would not take it back. very disappointed. This is not the first time this has happened. I bought school uniforms that did not fit the child. I was buying it for. Could not find the receipt. Tried to return it for an exchange. They would not allow me. Tax was still on the uniforms. So when you buy something from Walmart, can't guarantee that if you need to return that you'll get your money back or even exchange.
