Wireless remote
Easy to install. My anchor is mounted up front on my 14' Jon boat. Just a touch of a button and it's up/ down. Beats pulling on a rope. Good upgrade.

Great Winch.. with a 15 Lb anchor, it works great
I recommend getting the remote with it.. Simple install and works great on my bass boat.

Works perfectly but install is difficult
I rate the quality, performance as 4 stars. I rate the customer service as 5 stars. However, that was after considerable effort to install. The kit includes a replacement control module in the anchor winch housing. The instructions are clear and required no soldering or splicing of wires. However, the wire from the new module to the motor was too short. I called the company and they quickly recognized the problem and send me an extension with the proper plugs on each end. Problem solved. I also had difficulty in installing the screws for the new module. But, in the end, everything went together and it works like a charm.

the remote works well but I would not buy the Trac anchor winch mine quite after one time using it.

I ordered an electric anchor winch AND A REMOTE UP AND DOWN CONTROL. Supposedly all I would need to do was plug every thing in except I would need to heat shrink the wires to the battery. The remote unit and the one inside the winch don't even resemble each other but I could make it work if I could which wire goes where on the control unit on the winch housing. The wires on the original control unit are RED, YELLOW AND BLACK. On the remote control unit are YELLOW, WHITE AND GREEN and the connections on each are completely different. If I knew which wire went where I could make it work.
