Tracfone BLU View 5, 64GB, Black - Prepaid Smartphone [Locked to Tracfone]

I did not like the people that customer service that I spoke to about my order they were not knowledgeable with regard to me a replacement insurance they did not know the correct answers and I had to look them up at the counter and they were kind of rude about it I guess that's not really about the product that's about the customer service sorry

The Price is Right. it's very slow it freezes up every now and then this is the fourth one the third one I've had and I know what I'm getting I just break them no matter how careful I am I seem to break I'm going to go through his phone but once every 10 to 12 months so I don't do expensive phones and I don't use it that much I text more than I talk but I do like about the new phones that are that they have talk to text my typing skills are lacking

The price is right. Not as many cases available as there were for my Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and NO camera cover built in for the BLU. I like the Galaxy better, but found so much unnecessary stuff on it. I have been able to pare down the nonsense on BLU, so it is much cleaner without ads hitting your face all the time. If price is important, than BLU is for YOU. Otherwise Galaxy or some other would serve better for various reasons.

Ok, blu phones are horrible and soooo slowww! Not to mention, whoever delivered it, left it on the outside steps of my Covered, and screened in porch. It rained all day. When I went out to see if it came, there was a soggy soaking wet box sitting outside in the pouring rain. I have TWO covered porches, and they leave my new cell phone out in the rain! Doesn't really matter. This phone is a piece of junk anyway. Half the time it does not detect my touch, and when it does, it does nothing to let you know, it detected it, but it loads so ridiculously slow, that if you touch the screen again, it forces you to select things you don't want. But it will get me by, until I can afford a real phone... they would really have to go out of their way to make a worse "smart phone".

Very slow. Rings 4-5 times before it shows me the number calling me. Not very good sound. Hard to hear person on phone. Has too many games already installed.

I bought two of these months ago and 1 never worked to set up with TracFone so I never opened the second one because it wouldn't work what so ever. I tried to reach out for a refund my Walmart was never available to chat! I finally gave up, then months later I tried charging and turning on the phone after Using it that 1 time! And it wouldn't turn on. I was finally able to get it on, but all these are really worth is to use with wifi, that's my thought since one wasn't working for TracFone I'm assuming all of them wouldn't work to set up with TracFone. It just would not let me what so ever. But don't get me started on how absolute slow these phones are. Please Walmart reach out to me I need a refund asap!

I wish I could give this phone a good review however the person who rang this up didn’t activate it. I bought it for my 86 y/o mother in another state. I couldn’t take it back. I called Walmart who said there’s nothing they can do. Buy it somewhere else!!

i got this phone the Blu View 5, thought it was the best thing ever, but i was wrong, it looks really poor quality, and is super slow on both WiFi and Mobile Data. it also wants to keep crashing no matter what I do, i tried updating it, but its still slow. the camera quality is bad, its blurry pics and poor call quality. i wish I could put zero stars on this review. hope the next phone i order, is in better quality and perfoms better. and please train your employees better cos i got discriminated a lot when i would shop at one of your stores.

Another phone that I purchased on Walmart.com and another phone that they FAILED TO ACTIVATE. Thank Goodness I purchase the warranty because it is after the 15 day cut off to return, SMH. YES, YOU HAVE TO RETURN IT IN ORDER FOR THEM TO ACTIVATE IT AS A NEW PURCHASE. JUST PLAIN STUPID, OLE STUPID. BILLION COMPANY AND THEY DROP THE BALL ON SCANNING ITEMS THAT ARE PLACED FOR PICKUP!!

The phone came the next day and is a nice looking phone but it cannot be activated. For some reason Walmart does not scan the phone package which it states to do right on package. Now Walmart should know to do this since mine is not the first for this to happen. I bought this on Walmart.com and when I called to TracFone to activate, they said they needed to open a ticket. I have called them several times to see what the status is and get various answers like I need to take it to a Walmart to get scanned and no because they do not know which Walmart it came from since I bought it on the Walmart site. Now it has been 5 days and guess what still not activated. I called Walmart customer service line and to no prevail they say this happens all the time. They said they would put me through to a manager, well after waiting ten minutes the guy came back on the line and said someone from management would call me back. Guess what nobody called me back. Now I just bought this phone as a second phone to have for an emergency. First off why is this happening, does Walmart not know how to train its employees to do this, it looks like a lot people put this item in their cart to buy. Before buying I read the reviews and I saw this happened to other customers and thought no this will not happen to me. Well it did and if my phone is not activated in the next couple of days its going back. It only has a 14 day return policy. Luckily I did not buy a plan since there is no return on them. The customer service at TracFone said I would not be able to add a plan until the phone was activated anyway. I cannot really say how good the phone is because it has not been used. This has been my experience with this purchase.
