Tracfone Blu View 5 Pro, 64GB, Black - Prepaid Smartphone [Locked to Tracfone]

I am grateful that I was able to transfer all of my data to my new phone without a hassle. I am a disabled veteran and I live in a very rural area and I have to be able to communicate with my primary care provider and partners who also volunteer their service for their community.

This replaced my tired previous Safelink provided phone. The switchover took some time on the phone with Safelink staff who were patient %26 expertly walked me through the process. A sad drawback to the phone is the user can no longer adjust the screens brightness level with a sliding bar. The previous phone I enjoyed using at night and could trim back the brightness to a perfect setting. It's probably better anyway to just hit the sack and leave the phone plugged in and charging in another room. There are other changes to the operation from the previous phone I gave up on trying to figure out I'm just happy being able to call and text when needed. It's a fine phone and at screaming good price I could afford.

I have purchased several cell phones through walmart.com and although the product was fine as well as everything else, the employees always fail to scan the product before shipping, therefore making it so you cannot activate the phone without going back to the store, returning the item, and then repurchasing that same item with the return gift card you just received. please inform your pickers that this is a problem and extremely inconvenient. the purpose of shopping online is so you don't have to travel to the store. for people with disabilities, it makes it very frustrating because we cant always physically travel to the store. I have had to go through this process three times already, it is becoming no worth it to buy again from walmart.com for this item.

Someone's Incompetence To Not Scan The Phone B4 Shipping, So I Can't Activate It. Have To Go To Walmart Store And Get The Phone Scanned...So, I bought this phone in July 2024 to replace my current phone that I accidentally dropped and cracked the screen. However, because I loved the phone I had and it was still in excellent working condition, I decided to keep using it by placing clear tape over the screen over the cracked area. So, fast forward to October 8, 2024, I decided to activate the new phone, figured, I paid nearly $80 bucks for it, I might as well activate it and keep as a back up. So, I dialed the 1-800 number on the Setup Card. Nope! Got a drop call with message, "not in service". Huh? So I used the BLU View "New" phone to go online to Tracfone website to active the phone. After going through all the setup procedures with customer service, typing in all those numbers and so forth, she tells me that the phone had not been properly scanned at the store, so couldn't be activated. She says, I have to go go Walmart's store and get the phone scanned, "again". WHAT?! That was the point of my buying online, so I wouldn't have to travel 10 miles to the nearest Walmart. Well, looks like that's exactly what I have to do to get the phone scanned. Good thing I still have the box it came in with the scan bar on it. Now, I need to contact online support to get a "stupid" receipt to show proof of purchase. Won't be buying any more phones on Walmart website.

TracFone will not activate this phone with the ime and SIM card number that it is sold with. you have to get a bring your own phone SIM card before they'll do anything. that was not the way it was advertised and we are going through crazy loopholes trying to get the thing to work. don't buy it

When I tried to activate the phone, it told me it was invalid. I am very disappointed with the phone. I returned it for a refund. Don't buy online; only in-store.

this phone was so hard to set up we tried me my son and daughter-in-law tried for a combine time of 7 hours and all of us calling TracFone helpline and not getting talked to her so we were told we would get a call back but none of us received one from them awful would never recommend it to no one

I purchased this phone for a student who was experiencing homelessness. She was displaced from her home at the end of the school year. I needed a way to tutor her virtually and she had no phone for us to talk back and forth. The phone arrived and had not been scanned. I called Wal-Mart who said to call Tracfone who said to take the phone to be scanned at a Walmart. The girl is living 45 minutes away from where she was living and does not have a driver's license. Needless to say the school year ended and she still does not have the phone activiated because she has to wait for someone to go to Walmart. I even asked Walmart and Tracfone to send her another phone and send me a label to ship the first one back. That was denied. I live in Delaware and this student lives in Maryland where I am employed to be a virtual teacher.

ordered online and once received, I couldn't activate it. kept getting not verified error. learned that the item wasn't scanned at the store before delivery to home so it appeared to be stolen and would not activate. had to return to store and purchase another at the store. I didn't get same phone but it was a TracFone. Was able to activate online. don't understand how the item wouldn't be scanned when ordering online. seems they would know this needs to be done. Didn't like having to go to store when taking advantage of online shipping to avoid having to go to store. inconvenient.

I tried to call tracfone to activate the but they are telling me the phone wasn't even properly scanned so it can't be activated I need to know how this is even possible I ordered online thru spark now I've waisted money on a phone I can't do anything with
