I don't know why there is so much negativity about this phone. People are saying that they do not receive their minutes for this phone, but in reality you do I try to activate the phone online transferring from one phone to another phone I chatted with customer service. They had no problem of activating my phone. And also putting my previous account plan onto this phone. This phone is basically for calling and texting and watching some videos. It's not all that, but if you are looking for something that's better than this. You will be paying more money i have been a customer for fifteen years

I have activated and used the phone and it includes a whole year of service. Tracfone doesn't even offer this on their website. I checked. Amazing phone for the price and with service. Can't beat that.

Moto G phone is of excellent quality with many needed features. I have used another Moto G phone for several years and the dependability is the finest. The special price you had on this was a Godsend. Not only for the product, but plus a year's free use is perfect.

I love the phone it's great quality and the camera quality is great if you like taking pictures and or videos, the plan that you get with it you can't beat it

I bought this phone for my elderly father. He needed to have something with him on his way to doctors appointments, traveling, driving etc. It was a bargain! The screen was large enough for him to be able to see it clearly. The phone was very easy to set up for him. He learned how to navigate it quickly. We did notice that, after we registered the phone, he gets an alarming amount of phone calls from Medicare plan sales. It's to the point of annoying. Not sure it was a good idea to register it with his real personal information.

This was a very good value especially that it includes one year of service. But if you want a simple phone to make basic phone calls for us not tech-savvy old folks this is NOT it !! Very hard to get it activated, after several tries on their web site it did not work. Then call the number on the box and just get an automated machine. I finally had to call the sales department to get a real person who transferred me to service, and they are not patient for those of us who do not know the technology. We need it to make basic phone calls but in the first couple hours getting lots of junk ads !!

Decent phone hardware, combined with a 1 year phone/messaging/miniscule data plan that's great as a phone for someone who doesn't use a phone on the go a lot. The problem is the decent phone hardware is Motorola, who only provides security updates for a little more than a year, and never more than 1 software update. So this halfway decent 2024 phone I bought late this year will be e-waste by the end of next year. The hardware has at least 3 good years in it, why toss it in the trash after 1? Samsung products, even the entry level A series, have 6 years of software and security updates for new products released 2H25. 3 years for software and 5 years for security for products before that date.

Other than being an android phone when I use iPhone the only thing about it is I can't find a case to fit it. There are plenty of cases for the moto g play but not the moto g. It was bought as a replacement for my mom's phone but she bought another without telling me. I didn't know until it was too late to return. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with the phone.

The 1500 minutes and texts for the year are 1500 TOTAL not a monthly plan. minutes and texts were gone after three days of usage which isn't even possible when I barely even used the phone.

Extremely hard and time consuming to set phone up to work properly. Was told one thing by Trackphone about the available minutes and download data available each month and in reality it turned out to be a minuscule amount of that. In fact, I used up my 1st month of download data just getting the phone set up to work correctly. Very disappointing.
