I love this phone, it does everything I need. It does need to have the battery charged every couple of days. I got this in January, and am still learning to use it. Just learned yesterday that I don"t have to type my text messages, just speak into the microphone. I transferred a triple minute phone to it and everything triples including texts
I have had this phone for about 3 weeks and am very happy with it so far. I mainly need it for phone and texts, so am not concerned about its relative lack of a lot of "bells and whistles," although I've been surprised by how many it DOES have -- especially for the price. I also have a Samsung tablet and am already quite aware of how Samsung does things, so the learning curve hasn't been as steep as it might have been otherwise. But I think that at least the basic functions would be quite easy to figure out, anyway.
I bought this phone because I needed to replace my LG phone. Like the size and how light it is compared to other phones. Not too bulky and heavy. Takes good pictures and sound is clear. Has a lot of features that I'm still learning to use. Glad I went this this brand.
I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of transfer and I was able to keep my number and no stupid contracts to complicate my world the service covers all I need. I don't know why many companies charge so much for the same results. DrCal CEO Musicians For Biodiversity Inc
This is my first smartphone so I can't really compare it to anything else. For a not so techie person it wasn't too hard to set up and I found info I needed on line or in the enclosed booklets. For the price it wasn't much of a gamble and so far so good. I mostly want it for talk, text and camera. Not a lot of internet. I'm a 73 year old grandma, what can I say?
My old phone was 3g so you can understand that upgrading to 4g was an instant plus for me. Price was right. Only problem was the battery didn't seem keep a charge more than a day in sleep mode before I had to recharge it. I am retired and I never use the phone unless I leave the house. It's just for emergencies. So when I am home I turn it off. Phone stays charged for a week or more and counting. Old phone took a minute and a half to turn on from off to on. This phone turns on in 20 seconds. I am happy.
I've had only one smartphone before - a Samsung J3 Luna Pro (now my wife's). Because I was familiar with that Samsung device, and quite satisfied with it, I went with "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" thinking. The limitation to that approach is that I haven't had an opportunity to sample other brands. So I have no real basis for comparison. Bottom line: It was a safe choice, and I'm not sorry!
BOUGHT THIS PHONE FOR MY MOTHER IN LAW THIS PHONE DOES NOT WORK IN OUR AREA IT NEEDS A VERIZON TOWER TO BE ACTIVATED WALMART NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS ITEM FROM THE STORES OR AREAS THAT DO NOT HAVE VERIZON TOWERS
Very user unfriendly device. Using the keypad is very difficult. E.g.: tried to write "PASTOR" as job description for my minister's contact and came out with "PSSTOF." That describes my whole experience with this device.
Wasted $46 dollars. Bought the Samsung Galaxy phone; wasted all day on the Tracfone website trying to get the phone activated. Neither the activation system or customer service were effective. So I tried reactivating my account on the original phone I was using I wanted to switch from. Not surprisingly; the original phone was reactivated in a timely manner. However I'm stuck. Although my original phone works; I'm out $46 dollars. The original phone is a couple of years old and the phone jack for listening to music is weak.
