Trane Comfort Performance Air Filter, 1000 Micro Particle Reduction HVAC Furnace, 20x20x1

Quality product. Other buyer reviews were a reason I purchased. I ordered three. My only concern was the fact that each came in a humongous box. See picture. The one inch wide filter in that box! Unbelievable. AND the box is imprinted with Walmarts environmental message to recycle. All three would have fit in one box, now that would be environmentally friendly.

These Trane furnace air filters are great quality air filters at 1000 micro particle reduction. Very happy with this purchase and a great price and fast shipping!

I got a new A-coil for my split system and put this filter in. I don't know if it's the new A-coil or the new filter but I do not see the mold on my ceiling that usually appears in the hot humid summer months. Every year we have to spray the ceiling where it appears to kill the mold but so far so good this year. Like I said I don't know if it's the filter or the new unit working miracles but I will continue to purchase this filter either way. It does seem to filter the air on my home really well. My air return is by my kitchen and it seems like the kitchen smells after cooking are filtered faster than when using the cheap old blue filters I used to have. Very good filter but expensive!!!

I used other filters this one does the job as it states it does and I change it every 2 1/2 months..

I was looking for a MERV 8 filter. This seems to be the suggested sweet spot for filtration yet not so high that it puts a strain on your HVAC system. Luckily I conducted a search in Walmart.com and discovered Trane introduced this new line of filters not long ago. I have a Trane HVAC system and with these filters at a MERV of 9, its perfect for what I was looking for. The build quality is excellent...providing me the confidence it will do the job! This will be my HVAC filter going forward. Glad Walmart.com has it, can now order a yearly supply online and have it delivered to my door.

When we moved into our new house, the previous owners had left a couple non-Trane furnace filters which I've been using. Each time I go to replace a filter, it is bent and difficult to remove because even though the dimensions are correct, the filter doesn't quiet fit. So, when I finally ran out of the less expensive non-Trane filters, I decided to spend the extra few dollars on a Trane brand. They fit perfectly! And they do their job. And, they are good for three months rather than the necessary monthly replacement of the less-expensive non-Trane filters, so the Trane filters will prove to be more economical in the long run.

Great product, especially for those who have asthma, chronic bronchitis, allergies or are sensitive to dust or anything else. I've been buying these for a while, and I can definitely tell a difference in the air quality in my home. Definitely worth the price!!

Nice quality

I ordered 4 filters. The outside box was immaculate, no dings, but one of the filters was very damaged, leading me to think it was knowingly packed as defective. Easily and quickly exchanged, but it would have saved Walmart the second shipping cost (not to mention carbon footprint) to have more observant employees not packing defective items. The filters themselves, however, are great, at a great price, made by the company that made my furnace. I don't have pets and I have a small apartment, so I don't need a higher micron level of filtration. Have been using these filters for over a year and am happy with them.

I can't really say anything bad about the product but Walmart and others need to say which direction the darn air flow arrow is on these filters. No picture or description on any of them tell you that and I have now ordered 3 different filters with the arrow pointing the opposite direction of what I need.
