Tresemme brand is a product I have used for years, and when I saw they now had the purple conditioner I tried it and was pleased with how silky it left my hair after styling it. My husband and kids also told me that they liked how my hair smelled after using it. I was very impressed because this was a blind buy.

Smell is nice and my hair is super soft! UPDATE: I found out after I purchased this product that it contains a preservative (Methylisothiazolinone) that is used to replace parabens. This preservative can irritate the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract, and is even found to be toxic in rats and aquatic life. This preservative is banned in Europe, Australia, and Canada, but somehow the US finds it safe to include in products! Go figure! Do yourself a favor--do your research first and purchase something else.

I had been using mothers blue shampoo and conditioner. when I saw this size and TRESemme and the price I figured they would all be the same but that is not true. I'm definitely going back to Not Your Mother's products.

The price was right but I was expecting this to be a bit more deep purple. The conditioner is fine, but the colour is more like a pale lavender. Didn't do much for the red highlights I wanted to get rid of. But for a conditioner it will work. Ill keep it.

Didn't really see a difference on my bleached hair. Usually use Fanola's purple and their blue shampoo but they are a bit drying so wanted to try a purple conditioner instead. I was trying to be cheap and bought this Tresseme one and it was a waste of money because it did nothing. I normally love Tresseme products but this was a bust. Oh well live and learn.

I normally use the Joico Color Balance Purple Shampoo %26 Conditioner that my hair stylist uses and recommends, but wanted to try an over the counter Purple shampoo and conditioner from a Local store. It did not keep my hair from turning orange and brassy. Therefore I do NOT recommend. I will stick with the higher priced products that do a great job on keeping my hair well maintained between trips to the salon.
