Tripp Lite SPIKECUBE 1-Outlet Surge Protector (600 Joules)

I have used Trip-Lite products for years. They are dependable. What more can I say. I have their surge protectors, and UPS systems, and they are all dependable and do what they say they will do. I was repairing a garage door opener and the parts seller had this Trip-Lite product. I have been saying to myself for a long time "Got to put something on the garage door opener-one of these days", and was very happy to see this product. Impressed by it's size and the fact that it has both indicators---power and protected. Will be using more as issues come up.

Works as described. Ideal surge suppressor for travel or use with a laptop or fancy world band radio. TrippLite is an established brand. You can't go wrong.

We have a whole house surge protector but decided to purchase the spike cube to protect the microwave and garage door opener. We also placed them in our guest room to protect the electronics of our guests. We feel the additional protection is worth the money spent.

Does exactly what I want and is compact enough to fit behind my Dryer. We get surges from time to time in Houston. Lost one dryer panel recently due to a surge so hopefully this will protect it.

Originally used with HDTV in guest room. When I had to add a cable box I swapped this with its 3 outlet sibling I was using for a laptop. This also works well with the laptop. It provides great protection and is very portable - easy to take along with the laptop.

I recently had a new garage door opener installed and the installer recommended I get a one outlet surge protector to protect the garage door opener and not have the expense of a new garage door opener should a surge occur. So I did some research on single outlet surge protectors and found the SpikeCube was a very good surge protector so I purchased and installed it and now have peace of mind. I have other larger Tripp-Lite surge protectors that have done a wonderful job for years and I expect the SpikeCube to do a great job as well.

Tripp Lite is a well respect, long time provider or quality products. Not a cheap foreign product.

Purchased the SpikeCube for my garage door opener. As electronics market enters the garage, I wanted my new purchase to be well protected. I chose the familiar name of Tripp-Lite to protect my garage door opener. I like the small size and the green and red lights that can easily be seen. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I haven't had a power surge to verify it provides the protection I purchased it for. It is a perfect solution for my opener.

An updated model was sent that will no longer fit in just one socket.
