Smooth and quiet! Just like a 4-stroke should be! We have over 168' of driveway (so, x2 for Both sides) and I have used my edger twice and it's Perfect! Easy to adjust depth, easy to start (no hard pulling of the cord, important because I'm 5'-2" %26 weigh 105lbs) and Best of all, no oil %26 gas mixing to worry about!

We used the 4-Cycle Edger on Wednesday and with the new technology it provides an easy start with just a smooth and steady pull, while Prime & Go Starting allows for fast, simple two-step starting which is a plus for a person that wants to do some yard work. The heavy-duty 9-inch dual-tipped steel blade cuts a clean edge along driveways and sidewalks, edging with a 1.75-inch max depth that got all those weeds out of the driveway. The fully molded ergonomic handle design with mounted throttle and idle controls allow for easy operation, while the v-style folding handle design saves storage space and that is a wonderful feature it stored in the garage and doesn't take up a lot of space. Furthermore, it has a cultivator that features a 5-position height adjust and 3 premium transport wheels for added stability and control when beautifying lawns and flower beds in any yard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the troy-bilt TBE304 4 cycle edger is a great beginner edger if you have never used one before. Very easy to put together,basically just putting the handle bars on and the starting rope through the loops. So lightweight and easy to handle. My yard has never been edged so this was my first time. My grass had been very overgrown and this edger took it with no problem, easy start up and I started on the highest depth and made a couple passes on the sidewalk with the edger in the grass . I do really like that the edger stays running so I dont have to pull the starting rope every time unless I physically turn it off. This made it easy to grab a rake and rake the grass edging up. I then could adjust the blade depth to it's max depth of 1.75 inches for a final pass.it did take 4 passes on a yard that has never been edged. Keeping up on it will be a breeze now. It did come with its own fuel, trufuel, which you can buy at any mainstream store and oil. That was a pleasant surprise so I didn't have to run to a store right away to use , I just pit it together and used it. So happy with this product.

She was always having a hard time clearing it because she was worried she might ruin the lawn mower's blade; hence, the edger came handy. It cuts through nicely and is very light which I guess is one of the best features not to mention easy to use. This is also a perfect machine for making a garden as it helps the edging clearer.

The unit is a little on the heavy side BUT easy to handle and easy to store. The unit is very well crafted from heavy duty materials. Some assembly is required, but was as simple as sliding handles together and securing with a large plastic wing nut. I was surprised to see that the unit came with oil and fuel! The adjustable wheel base allows the user to decide how deep they want to cut and there is a guide line so you know where the blade will be landing. I am truly impressed with the results of this edger, my yard has never looked cleaner! No more overgrowth making the sidewalk look messy :) My only complaint is that I didn't obtain this sooner!

It comes with everything that you will need to assemble the edger. It is very lightweight and easy to operate. It comes with the engine oil that is needed so you can use it right away. It is easy to start the edger with just a pull on the starting rope. It cuts very precisely and edges our sidewalks and driveway perfectly. I can just set the blade depth and then push the edger. The 4-cycle engine has a lot of power and is easy to maintain. It is easy to adjust the height of the blade so you can cut perfect clean edges along the driveway and sidewalks. The third wheel keeps the edger in balance so you can cut in a straight line. The edger is easy to store in our garage because of its size and the folding handle. This is a quality product and I highly recommend it.

The length of the handle makes it easy to use as well keeps it very sturdy for a direct clean cut . Gave a great cut and space between my walkway to the grass . We are very satisfied with this product and will definitely be buying more along this line ..

It is very easy to operate and the noise level is less than any other lawn machine I have owned. With one smooth pull, it can be started fast. Also love that I don't have to mix gas and oil to operate. It has a 9 inch steel blade for easy edging of driveways and sidewalks. And also has a 5 position height. Very easy to storage.
