We had request for laundry detergent from our foodbank clients. We found TruEarth laundry strips ideal for bulk purchase and divide for distribution. We place handful of strips in an envelop and give it to the clients. Initial feedback from clients is that they love it. We are planning to continue this program on a regular basis.
The first few times washing the sheets I found the strips were sticking to the sheets and not dissolving. It was just a sticky mess. I talked to someone and they said to tear the strip up and put in the cupholder, not the tub. I haven't tried sheets again to see if this works but it works with ordinary loads of clothes.
I have recently relocated to Athens, Greece and have used Tru Earth laundry strips for a few years. I love them. Very environmentally packaging, greatly effective product. The shipping was free (!), although the packet sat at Customs in Greece for several weeks. However, I love my Tru Earth products, love their respect for planet Earth, and recommend their products highly.
I absolutely love your products. I have scent and chemical sensitivities and I was iffy about using your products but, I decided to give them a try especially since my niece has been using them and she just loves it. It was the best decision I ever made! I will not go back to anything else. I am a baby boomer, a generation that recycled and reused everything so this product fits well with my upbringing. I highly recommend these products and I guarantee you wont be disappointed!
We purchased the laundry strips while on vacation for a month to save space. We were so impressed we purchased a year supply, which I think will last much longer. Were moving into a small condo in Toronto so theyre just perfect for space and cleaning power. I absolutely adore the dryer balls, they are brilliant. Our clothes are so soft without all of the chemicals.
SOOOOO glad you asked. The order came promptly, BUT it was not the same as Tru Earth, but labeled Earth Breeze, 60 loads (not 64), and the sheet , which said can be used as half sheets, but none are perforated, so do not tear cleanly - must be cut??? Clearly NOT your preferable brand at all, and how did this happen. ???? Kindly comment . Marilyn
I love these laundry strips! They are vegan (no animal testing), eco-friendly and are sent in minimal, recyclable packaging. They smell fantastic and do a great job at thoroughly cleaning laundry. The only reason I am rating these 4/5 stars is because, although I ordered the Platinum strips, one strip is still not enough to completely clean a really dirty load of laundry. Sometimes clothes will come out smelling a bit sweaty. To be fair, my boyfriend sweats as much as Bigfoot himself. :P But I was hoping Platinum would work better than the regular strips to remove odours. Overall, I would totally recommend Tru Earth's laundry strips! Just make sure you add two strips to very soiled laundry.
Goodish for washing everyday clothing but washing towels, sheets & work clothes a big let down. Laundry does not come out smelling clean & scent of laundry strips is totally not detectable after washing. I like my clothes to smell clean when they come out of the washer & they do not with Tru Earth. Work clothes come out OK clean but strips do not get smell out of clothing. Wash as heavy duty load with 2 strips & clothes come out of washer cleaner, not totally clean & still smell of machinery, cigarette smoke & sweat. Good product I guess for gentle use clothing, but for heavy laundry items, or professions where people get dirty it doesnt make the grade. Strips do not totally dissolve either. Unfortunately will have to go back to bulky large plastic containers to get the clean I expect.
I have to use two strips consistently for every load of laundry to get a result matching that of conventional detergent. Which means that even if I buy the yearly subscription at discount price I end up paying FOUR times the price of what I did before for the same result. No thanks! It's too bad, though. Cause I love the concept.
I have bought the unscented straps and have been finding that my clothes doesn't necessarily get cleaned properly. I use a whole square for med to large loads, and the clothing smells stagnant when it comes out. My laundry doesn't feel like it's been cleaned. I'm a bit disappointed.
