Wanted to upgrade my ground cinnamon since I add it to our homemade protein bars. It did not disappoint such a rich smell when I opened bag and again when baking. Beautiful color, very fine so dissolved well in batter. Lastly, the taste.. it improved our already yummy bars. The better for our health is the cherry on top.
This is really fresh and great tasting product. I bought to make a cinnamon tea to help with my blood sugar and it tastes really good and seems to be helping lower my blood sugar after my evening meal.
It is celyon and safer to use. I add a little cinnamon to my morning coffee, and it gives me a bit of a pick me up to start my day. When I used True Organic, I use only half the amount, it is so effective. And it tastes good too.
just started trying it. It looks good and tastes good. I add a half of 1/8 tsp in both of my yogurt/fruit/nuts bowl and oatmeal/sweet potato bowl. It adds more flavor to both. Not sure the health effectiveness and will see in a few months.
Love that it's organic and the healthier cinnamon. A little expensive. It's definitely smoother and less harsh the other type of cinnamon. I will stick with this and reorder when needed.
This is the first time I have tasted Ceylon cinnamon so I don't know what it really should taste like. However, it does taste different than the Cassia ones that I've used all my life. It's probably a little less sweet than the Saigon Cassia one that I normally get from Costco. But I'm getting used to it and am using it for health reasons. I wish it came in a sprinkling type of container rather than a bag for ease of use.
It is very economically priced, but the flavor is not as good as the brand I normally buy. The cinnamon flavor is weaker than the other brand and it has a medicine aftertaste. I have very sensitive taste buds, so I can taste that. My husband doesn't taste it, but agrees the flavor is weak and different. I prefer the brand I used to have over this brand, but it's not bad and it is economical.
There is a problem with how Walmart serves the people in the San Bernardino mountains, home to over 1 million residents. The postal service does not deliver to home or business addresses in the mountain communities, one has to go to the post office to pick up ones mail. However UPS, Fedex, DHL and OnTrac all do home and business delivery. I am a Walmart member, and when I place orders using my mountain address, many items are marked as out of stock. If I check the same items at a friends address in Las Vegas NV or San Bernardino CA the items are available. I have talked and chatted with Walmart customer service several times, and asked them why Walmart cannot use a delivery service other than the USPS up here in the mountains. Walmart uses them down the mountain. I am told there is nothing they can do about it. So I end up ordering from Home Depot, Newegg, Ebay or others because while they deliver to my home, Walmart will not. How can this problem be fixed, so we who live in these Mountain Communities, from Wrightwood, to Crestline, to Lake Arrowhead, to Running Springs and to Big Bear can order larger items from Walmart?
It does not dissolve in coffee. It falls to the bottom and stays there even after stirring multiple times. Your last sip is filled with all the cinnamon which quite frankly doesn't taste very good.
First I had help making the order with a clerk, and supposedly it was with free shipping, then I was charged for shipping. Fraud on Walmart;s part.. The Walmart clerk helped to avoid shipping charges. Additionally I ordered a second item which did not come (I was not charged for it - or maybe I was in the "shipping charge -about the same price as the second item). Another reason we frequent other places. Chuck
