TRUENESS Blood Glucose Test Strips, 50 count

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These strips were easy to use and functional. I'm a nurse and have used many different types of machines. This was standard and easy to use. Packaged nicely. And works efficiently. Tried against another machine and it was accurate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have recieved the Trueness Blood Glucose Test Strips in exchange for my honest opinion. You really can't have one without the other. These test strips pair well with the Trueness Blood Glucose Monitoring System. The strips make readability smooth in simple. All it takes is a simple prick, and drop of blood along the strip. The prongs on the strip sense when there is a sufficient amount of blood and automatically transfers info to the monitoring system with immediate results. The strips are stored in a portable container with a batch number and expiration date.

Its a great value for what you get. It is sensitive but not too sensitive. Absolutely recommend this product.

The little container makes it easy to store and the container stays sealed shut. The integrity is great as it holds up well when getting my blood for the monitor. I love how easy it is to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that the Trueness BGM comes with 50 glucose test strips and control solution. The test strips are easy to use and insert into the meter. I wish the test strips would allow you to add more blood if you didn't get enough blood the first time. They work fast, and it only takes a 5 second countdown to see your glucose readings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Trueness blood glucose test strips for a couple weeks and they have been pretty consistent and reliable. The strips are easy to handle and load into the meter. They require very little blood which saves my fingers from being so sore. They come in a 50 pack which should last me several weeks. The only thing I don't like is they only work with Trueness monitors so if you chose to go this route you are locked into their system. Overall, I like the small blood sample size and reliability of the strips however be aware that the strips will only work with the same brand monitor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot speak for the accuracy of the strips, as the company has not provided a lancing device to properly provide a sample for these strips with the kit they sent me to review. However I've seen lots of test strips in my 10 years as a diabetic and I can tell you some things from the visuals alone. First, I think the packaging is really nice. This vial opens nice and easily which is important for those with weak hands or mobility problems. It also seems to seal well and it is light blocking. That's important when you live in a high UV area. The bottle includes the control ranges, that is helpful for calibration. The strips themselves also take a moderate amount of sample to fill, it's not the most I've ever seen, and not the least, it's medium. 1 microliter. I've seen some as small as .5 and possibly .2 microliters. The strips take 5 seconds to read, which is about standard for a standard meter these days. These strips are also less expensive than some other brands I have seen previously, and potentially more expensive than others.

I did not order these strips….they do not fit my meter.. ? Why sent most meters cannot interchange strips.
