Compact Ironing Mat Review
This item is clean, functional, and compact. It does not flake off onto my clothes. It keeps heat from the underlying surface, and it does not take up much space when stored and not in use.

Durable, but not smooth enough for delicates
Like: magnets in each corner, good size, durable material, and it's slightly stiff so it stays flat. Dislike: the quilting texture gets ironed into the fabrics--at least thin, delicate fabrics like I have ironed with it. I haven't tried it with thick fabrics, because I rarely iron thick fabrics. I was displeased, so I returned it and got one that is unquilted on one size. (Sidenote: the lack of quilting on the one side of the Amazon pad posed its own problems--it's not quite taut so I have to make sure it doesn't have folds as I iron. So, either type is a tradeoff.)

Just wished it was 36 inches long. Magnets don't stick well on both sides of the dryer.
