When I first pulled this pineapple corer out of the box, I was a little skeptical. It seemed too light and compact to peel a pineapple like the machines I see at the grocery store. But sure enough, this worked great. It easily cored our pineapple, and the skin came right off using the peeler. My husband loves to make sweet and sour chicken, and now that we have a way to core the necessary pineapple at home, I imagine we'll be eating it a lot more. Very pleased.

I never knew that pineapple corer’s existed so when I found this I was extremely happy it is super simple to use and once you cut the pineapple the pineapple just comes apart you don’t have to force anything honestly makes life so much easier and you can use this for other things you don’t have to just use it for pineapple in it would be a bit sick for an apple corer but it works for all anything that needs coring

This is my new best friend. This corer worked like a breeze. I was concerned that I may have needed some force to get it out of the pineapple but not at all. The cutting blades are very sharp so be careful when hand washing. Once you cut the top off the pineapple you place the corer inside and start to twist till you get to the bottom or you can't go any further. I found to pull it out just give it a little twist and start pulling up and it comes out really easy. You remove the top handle and just slide your pineapple out. Only hand wash this. Such a better way to enjoy a pineapple. You are also left with the core that you could put a drink in it or fill it with something else and serve to your guest. Great tool.

This pineapple corer is awesome!!! It makes cutting up and coring pineapples so much easier. The process is really quick as well! The handle is easy to hold and use! I would not recommend allowing kids to use it though because the blade is very sharp.

THE GOOD: The blades on this core are very sharp. It does not take a lot of effort to use. You simply cut off the leafy part of the pineapple and line the core up with the corer. You twist clockwise with minimum pressure. When you reach the bottom, I find it easier to twist one quarter of a turn backwards and then wiggle and pull up on the corer. All of the pineapple rings will come out with the corer. The rings are evenly sliced. And, in my opinion, perfect for grilling. However, you can use it for pineapple upside down cake or whatever you choose. NOTE: this product will leave a significant amount of usable pineapple, if you are using a pineapple that is larger than this corer. First, I drink the delicious juice left in the pineapple bowl. Some people will save the pineapple bowl and use it for presentation of fruit cocktail, which is a great idea. Since I live alone and do not entertain, I slice the pineapple carcass length ways and remove as much of the juicy pineapple as I can and I cut it in chunks. I then put those chunks in a food saver bag and freeze it. When cleaning the quarter, please note that this is a metal product in the blades are very sharp. I clean mine with a little brush and let it dry in the sink before storing it away.

Pieces of pineapple get trapped between the bottom round piece and the center post. It requires a toothpick to pick the pieces out. It works well coring the pineapple; but because the metal is not one molded piece the cleaning issue out weighs the function.
